Have been coming here since 1991 when a client suggested it for lunch. I’ve been hooked ever since. I don’t come here for hand-holding, pampering service. It’s about the burger, plain and simple. There is a crust on it from the low and slow cooking on the flattop and I love that. This has a business model that I believe in…provide just a few menu items and do it well. This place will be here long after I depart this earth if they don’t change a thing…

Very good burger and fries at a dive bar atmosphere in Pacific beach they have a good beer selection I had heard this is one of the best burgers in San Diego so I had to try it although really really good I would not consider it the best It is definitely in the top 10 customer service was good It is definitely worth a trip to rocky's crown pub they have good lunch specials from 11am till 2pm M-F you get a cheeseburger fries and a beer for 20 bucks you cant beat that

Awesome place, just down the road from where we were staying. Menu is burger and fries, but they did a grilled cheese for the vegetarian. Had a couple of meals here and all were good.
Staff amazing and friendly, food amazing, hot and fresh. Mind the hot peppers in the jar, they are unforgiving!

Not the best burger. Pretty mid, actually. It was a bit flavorless and the fries weren’t great, either. I’m not convinced they salt the fries here. Service was lacking. Barely got checked on.

I had heard this was the best burger in San Diego…and after finally trying it out, I completely agree. Delicious burger and french fries.
And it must be the best burger, because Rocky’s doesn’t make it easy. Parking is limited, kids aren’t allowed, seats are limited, and it’s a cash-only establishment.
With all that said, we’ll DEFINITELY be back. It’s worth it!
