This is my favorite burrito shack in San Diego. I always get the California burrito and add guac and pico. Tortillas are an underappreciated part of a great burrito, and the tortillas here are fantastic. I drive out of my way to go here.
Met the owner on a flight but even before that this is our go to place for good Hispanic/Mexican food
They never open on time
Their Carne Asada is ridiculously good
A bit slow on service near closing time. But worth waiting for chicken soup which was great. Prices reasonable.
Convenient for our immediate needs.

Bathroom could use a good clean and air freshener.

O how the mighty have fallen. This place used to be the spot but between shrinkflation and the Cali burrito using roasted potatoes instead of French fries... Kinda not the same as it used to.

I like to support small local businesses,this is a decent Mexican food place, chicken soup very flavorful beans and tortillas tasted like they were made from scratch. This isn't a 5 star place it's a mom n pop local hole in the wall the food is hot and fresh and on time when you call ahead.

Bland food and more! If you want to be charged different prices than what's posted, this is your place...if you want a surprise 3% credit card fee, this is your place...and if you want burritos with tons of grease dripping out...c'mon down!! To top it off, tasteless food (rice, beans, etc) with no real flavor. Seriously, this was awful Mexican food...Chipotle is better and that isn't saying much...
