We had dinner at Roma Mia in the Gaslamp and I’m still dreaming about it. From start to finish, everything was chef’s kiss. The vibe was intimate and cozy, tucked right in the heart of downtown San Diego—perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic date.
We kicked things off with the grilled octopus appetizer, which was perfectly tender with just the right char—so flavorful. The Caesar salad was crisp, classic, and done right. And the lobster ravioli? Don’t even get me started—rich, buttery, and packed with flavor in every bite.
We also tried the signature house pasta dish and it was fire—absolutely lived up to the hype. Paired it all with a bottle of Chianti, and it brought the whole meal together in the most dreamy way.
And yes… we absolutely made room for dessert. Every bite was worth it—sweet, balanced, and the perfect ending to a stunning meal.
The service? Impeccable. Friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel totally taken care of without being overbearing.
