Cool fun little quaint corner bar in the central normal heights section. Bartenders are receptive and friendly. Lively crowd and there are occasions where they host a DJ which is always fun. Located within a block radius of other bars nearby so a perfect spot to start or end a bar crawl with friends.
My favorite neighborhood bar I have ever been to! Great vibes! Live music is always killer and Jason the bartender makes you feel like family. A trip to San Diego is never complete without a stop in for a cold highlife and a good time!
Been coming here since 2021, love the staff and the people that come in. The one neighbor upstairs sucks tho and deserves a wedgie; constantly crying and complaining about anything that happens at the bars/restaurants in that neighborhood. It’s like moving to lower manhattan and complaining that there’s too many skyscrapers or purposely moving next to an airport and complaining that they planes flying over you is too loud. But nonetheless, it’s a great bar for both regulars...
