Such a sweet little hidden gem. My son is in archery camp and I was looking for a close by place to grab a snack. I was pleasantly surprised to find this tucked inside the tennis center. I had the turkey avocado sandwich and a chai tea...very tasty. Pleasant staff. Quick service. Good food!

Everything was absolutely phenomenal! I got the sunset Maui, and the breakfast burrito and I added avocado! The service was phenomenal, my friend got the hulk smoothie and it tasted so good, and then they got the morning glory with the spinach. Oh sorry the morning bird!

Coffee was OK and the location is convenient in the middle of Balboa Park, but someone needs to talk to the kid working counter. he was really rude, not even polite and could barely acknowledge me. No thank you for your business, no smile, generally acted like he was surprised people were coming up and talking to him to order. Maybe not a good fit personality wise for a job that requires interacting with other humans.

I agree with Aleksandra below; the hype for this place led us here, but it wasn't great, just below average. It seemed like the family of the owner or whomever was at the register took priority and played a distraction to service and care. The smoothies were average, nothing that stands out. I had the Green Smoothie and it was pretty standard.I also had the Avocado Sunrise Burrito which I had ordered with the addition of bacon. I was charged +$2 for the bacon and there was hardly any in it. They must buy the bag of bacon bits and sprinkle it in. Definitely not worth the extra $2. It is a rip off, especially when you can't even taste it. Worst off, it lacked seasoning! The potatoes were literally boiled and cubed with nothing aiding it in flavor. It was very disappointing. My wife had the Acai bowl. She said it was decent, the only bad part was the acai was frozen and she had to carve it out with her plastic spoon.Definitely on my "Do not return" list.

Despite living in SanDiego 85% of my whole life, this was the first time I had visited Morley Field in the daytime.I don't really wonder why since the activities are not my type of sports. The coffee tasted good, the Service was suffice; it's just not my sort of ambiance.[Edited from: Based upon the barista, I probably will not come to this coffee shop again. It'll probably be fine to you, but that is not my sort of ambiance.]In response to business inquiry, I am uncertain about why, I just know I would get clumsy and cantankerous. I come from the social view that there is nothing wrong with someone else's demeanor, it's just one I individually wouldn't coalesce well with. ('Will edit this part put in the future).]

Tasty and fast! We got a breakfast burrito and it was big enough to share. Also enjoyed the coffee.

Juicy delicious sandwiches that will definitely satisfy your hunger. Located in a nice shady area near the tennis courts, easy parking, friendly service, and most of all delicious sandwiches and smoothies. Highly recommend especially if you're on the go. Had iced coffee as well, which was between okay and good. Food takes the spotlight though.

Super cheerful service and delicious, freshly prepared food options. It's a refreshing sheltered outdoor seating environment amongst beautiful Balboa Park trees and the joyful sounds of happy tennis players. Plenty of free parking too. Went out for a hike with a friend from there.

Not sure what all the hype is about. We've had breakfast burritos with bacon and all I could feel and see were potatoes, just a little bit of eggs and cheese, bacon only in traces. Coffee was so-so, nothing special. My son had breakfast sandwich and said it was good, which is the only reason I'm giving 3* instead of 2*. No indoor seating and if their friends come around while you are waiting for your order, you can be sure they will be served first.

Good smoothies and coffee, by Balboa tennis club courts. 5 minute drive from Zoo and Gardens.

We stumbled upon this coffee cafe while searching Google for a route to a meeting. It was on our way and had a lot of 5 star reviews. So, we gave it a try. I was hungry and ready for something different. This place is located within the Balboa Tennis Club. It is not hard to find, but is off the beaten path. We ordered an acai bowl and a breakfast burrito with soy chorizo, as well as a Mexican mocha. This was not prepackaged food, but a freshly made burrito. After picking up our food and digging in, we both enjoyed the flavors and quality of our food and the mocha. Prices are equivalent to other type places in the area. We watched a couple tennis matches (nothing formal) as we ate. I would recommend this to locals and visitors. Nothing fancy. But good.
