Carne asada, carnitas, fish tacos, and menudo were all delicious. Everything tasted fresh. The carnitas was especially good. Owner is super friendly. Great service. Grungy city block, but despite that, the atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming, clean, and comfortable. Recommend.

I just want to share that this place is really good! The food is solid, with well-made dishes, especially the chilaquiles. I was pleasantly surprised by the chilaquiles—the consistency of the sauce and the tortilla chips were very, very good, and the portion was just right. They’re some of the better chilaquiles I’ve had, and at a reasonable price. Definitely worth trying. The owner is also very kind. He engages with all the customers and clearly puts a lot of care into his business. I hope to keep visiting them this year, and I recommend stopping by for the chilaquiles. If not, try the chicken tacos or any other dish—they’re good. The carne asada chips are also worth mentioning.

Breakfast burrito was huge and a great price compared to 6 dollars more at a near by restaurant I stopped to buy coffee at. Man working the register was informative with answers to my not-understandable questions being asked from hunger that I didn’t know how to word what I was asking. Great employee ! Great food !
