In my opinion, as someone who was born in Vietnam, grew up there until 6 years old, been back a couple of times, eats vietnamese food regularly (restaurant and home cooked): Royal Garden is by far the best Viet restaurant I've EVER been to. If you're in SD, check it out. When entering you'll either be shocked or delighted that there's an empty dance floor and what seemingly seems like a ghost town of a restaurant. Make it past all that and you'll be rewarded with some good eats. So far I've tried Pho Filet Mignon, Bun Bo Hue, Pepper Steak (rice and salad variety) and all have been amazing.

Staff are supper friendly, a lot of dishes to choose from, I love the bun rieu noodle soup , must try chicken deep fried with butter...Yummy. hugh parking in the back, closed every Tuesday. Definitely come back for more.....

Their Phở Gí TÆ°Æ¡i (Pho with steamed Chicken) is really good, my favorite menu item is Phở Trá»™n Hí Ná»™i (Vietnamese Noodle Salad), Mì Gí Xí o BÆ¡ Tá»i (Stirred Fried Garlic and Butter Spaghetti with Marinated Chicken), CÆ¡m Tay cầm Äặc Biệt (Rice COMBO served in Clay Pot), CÆ¡m Cá Salmon Chiên (Rice with Pan Fried Salmon).

When you first get out of the car... the smells from the kitchen solidifies your mind and let's you know your at the right place. Now when we first walked in n, I thought I was walking into someone's private party.... private piano playing... dance floor, banquet hall style... but the people are so nice and inviting that they invite you in and are continually so polite... love them. We order pho, some wings, spring rolls, and crunchy rolls... omg... so yummy... thank goodness we happen to be near this spot. I would definitely come back.

Ordered pho to go with an awkward confused looking waiter. Broth wasn't so great and overall pho was okay. Place looks clean with half of the restaurant set up as a banquet hall of some sort either for a wedding or a quincenera(?) for that night. Didn't try any other foods and mostly likely won't be back since broth is everything!!!
The food portions were great, the price was meh. It's a good place to eat with extended family. The broth of the soups was salty, so I'd recommend the stir frys as they were served especially hot and fresh

The food is crazy amazing, the staff is sooooo nice, and the place is sparkling clean and kept up nice ! They host banquets so you know the food has to be good for that and the dinner food seems to be the same recipes and quality. Ok part 2 it's a little weird - you have to call and make sure they're not having a banquet but it's so worth it if they're not having a party for hundreds of people.

This is the best value pho i've ever had. It's cheap and really really delicious, the broth is amazing. I can't believe how good it is, I love it. I get the pho tai and an iced coffee usually; it's perfect for any meal of the day, and I love coming in the morning. They also have really amazing egg rolls! The venue is so funky and awesome! If you manage to stumble upon karaoke night you'll have a super fun time. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Overall, I love this place and recommend it to anyone who wants a unique pho experience for a low price with a high quality taste.
