Really I think this should be rated higher! We went for the buffet, which apparently now only happens Sunday. We had three lunch specials, and all were great. Mine was perhaps the best lamb vindaloo I have ever had. Recommended!

After many years of enjoying Royal India at the restaurant, we had the joy of having Royal India cater our rehearsal dinner. The team was communicative and easy to work with through building the catering order, and made set up and serving a breeze. *AVOID AVOID AVOID* Extremely terrible food and shocking customer service. We ordered ~$700 worth of food for an engagement party. The food arrived and tasted not fresh, the kebabs were dry as if they were made earlier in day and reheated. The curries were swimming in oil. We were so embarrassed in front of our guests who couldn’t eat the food, and we ended up having to bin most of it which is so disappointing.
During the night my son and another guest were very ill from the food. We all felt the food was not fresh.
The next morning we called the restaurant manager to provide feedback and he was extremely rude. He refused to listen to our concerns and instead challenged us and declined to accept any fault. All he cared about was his money and had no regard for customer satisfaction.
Needless to say we will never ever be ordering from here. I would encourage others to not be fooled by the reviews as they don’t reflect reality. Avoid unless they want an upset stomach.

The Indian food here is SLIGHTLY above average. It is far too expensive for what it tastes like. The restaurant ambience however is very nice, so it makes for a relatively good experience compared to other local Indian restaurants. I would NOT RECOMMEND trying this place more than once.

Resubmitting my review because they took it down. I received delivery of the Chicken Tikka Masala and there was not only almonds in the food which is not listed on the menu description, but there were large insects in the chicken AND in the rice.
