It was a quiet night at Roy's as we were here on a Monday. Service was attentive and food spectacular! Love the rice and boat special appetizer! The chocolate cake was also a hit for dessert! We love coming here when in the area!
Service was extremely slow and rather disappointing. Told manager who said he would follow up next day. He never did.
Stopped by for a glass of wine on the outside patio.
Great view of the docks.
Lovely outside seating.
Friendly service.

Recommend dining here if you have the time. Many consider this place to have a great date and/or conversation. Food is outstanding. If you are lucky enough to get a fantastic server, you could get a special end-meal dessert. Top score for this Roy's!
Oh my goodness - the most delicious food in San Diego! Incredible lobster potstickers and sushi

We had a great table outside on the patio. The food was delicious and the service was great. I highly recommend the four sampler.
Food was horrible. Steak was overcooked and appetizers were cold. It wasn't busy at all but the food was not prepped nor was it cooked properly. Well done steak when I ordered a medium rare steak then it took forever to replace my steak by then our food was completely cold. The server was nice and did good
As we remembered. Too bad the one in SF has closed down. Compact menu but very satisfying.
Waited a longtime for advice and mentioned this to the restaurant manager. Not acceptable! The server, when he arrived, was not helpful with his unusual table side manner.

Waited over 15 min for a waitress while seated. Walked out.
The restaurant was not busy and we watched two servers walk back and forth near our table. We left after 15 minutes with no one ever approaching us.
There with a large group for a late dinner. Server and service were top notch, and we had a great time. Most of the food was solid, with a great mix of flavors and textures. Unfortunately, the filet served as the main was overcooked and tough which took away from the meal. Hopefully was just a one off since we were a large group, and I'd definitely give them another shot.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is unbelievable. The best lobster bisque I’ve ever eaten in my life and the views are breathtaking!
