Had a large work event that needed to catered and Rubicon was up to the challenge. All the sandwiches were great and they didn’t make any mistakes on a larger complex order. Try the waffle fry chips, you won’t regret it!

Food is always great but lately the service has decreased. The one young girl working there had me waiting for my sandwich for 20 minutes even though it was sitting there. She completely ignored me when I was trying to ask. It was only until my boyfriend was looking at another order that she actually paid attention. She ruined my experience but shout out to the man making the sandwiches, he was hustling.

All I can say is… wow! Excellent service and tasty Sammie’s. As a sandwich lover, the bread is fantastic. However I think Siesels meats has you beat on the tater salad. But the service is absolutely 5 star.

I love this place! The food is excellent and they are very thorough and reliable. I have used them for catering medium to large events on multiple occasions and they do a wonderful job. One time I had an issue with 3rd party deliver vendor (not Rubicon) and they made it right. They have earned a loyal customer with their excellent food and service!

I got the Rich Boy sandwich and the half was huge. I loved how they cut it in half and their cookie is nice too. Great experience!

I was bored and hungry while I waited for a friend having eye surgery. Decided to grab a sandwich at the nearby deli. WOW! I would eat here everyday if I lived up here. I had their dapper dip on Jalapeno bread. Might be the best sandwich I've ever had. And it came with a warm little cookie!

Can’t believe it took me this long to find this restaurant. The portions were massive af and the sandwiches are really tasty. Big amounts of every topping and meat, can’t go wrong with anything you order. I ordered the Dapper Dipper (roast beef, swiss, tempura onion, horseradish, au jus) and he got the Rich Boy (chipotle chicken, avocado, monterey jack, lettuce, tomato, onion, garlic mayo). Both were really good but I think I liked the Dapper Dipper better. Would recommend everyone to check this place out.

One of the best sandwiches in San Diego! Multiple choices of chicken/bacon/beef sandwiches with significantly different flavors. Blue cheese and garlic cheese bread is recommended. Half is enough to feed an adult.

The food is incredible, not even the bad service will keep me away! $20 for a sandwich it’s kind of expensive. The rent must be pretty expensive there.
