After hearing that Rubicon has gluten free bread, I knew I had to make it a point to stop in as I'm always in the mood for a good sandwich. I purchased a half order, which was more than enough for me. I decided to build my own sandwich with turkey and all the fixings and light spicy mayo. The half sandwich was about 5 to 6 inches long on a baguette, which held up throughout the duration of me, eating the sandwich! Happy to come back again, although do recommend calling ahead or ordering for pick up as the lunch hour is pretty crazy.

I got food delivered thru Uber eats and let me tell you the sub I got was amazing!! I got the spicy tuna on the garlic cheese bread. AMAZING!!! It's also huge!!! The salad I got with it was soo good too, the dressing and everything! 10/10 gonna order again!

I'm a fool for this deli I order takeout from here on a weekly basis cause it's super close to work and they never disappoint! The food tastes amazing, I've tried all of their sandwiches so far and have yet to be disappointed. The Crandie is my favorite. The service is excellent, very polite and professional and they all smile :) and the ambiance is very welcoming and warm.

Our team had lunch brought to us this week, so glad I was introduced to Rubicon Deli! We had the most delicious sandwiches & salads! I love the mini chocolate cookies and scrumptious chips that came with each meal. We will definitely order from this deli again! I love the bread the sandwiches are made with!

Rubicon delivers in portions for your money. The bread is always fresh and delicious and your sandwich comes with a free little cookie. It's always busy when I come in so it can take a while before anyone gets to you to pick up an order but the food is worth it.
Like most things in life, there is a spectrum upon which sandwiches are routinely rated. While some happily accept their role as merely "convenience" sandwiches, others have aspired to earn the label of "destination" sandwiches. They're good enough to motivate you to drive a distance just to acquire them. In my estimation, Rubicon Deli has consistently created sandwiches that I literally miss when it's been too long since I've enjoyed one. To this day I continue my assertion that "I'm not a bread guy." However, whenever I have the good fortune of visiting Rubicon I am DEFINITELY a bread guy (my fave is the Garlic Cheese Bread)! At lesser establishments your bread selection may only be an afterthought unworthy of much consideration, but not here. Take the time to make a careful selection (even if it means holding up the line an extra minute) and just softly mutter "sorry, not sorry" to anyone mad dogging you from behind. Those rookies will understand the importance of this decision once they take the first bite of their sandwich. When they do, and then apologetically glance your direction, just wink like a veteran and they'll understand that you have extended the sceptre of grace to them. Our other ordering recommendations also include: a "half" sandwich is plenty large enough to satisfy most people, their sides are nearly as good as their sandwiches (the Bacon Potato Salad is my personal fave), and each sandwich order includes a soft and gooey chocolate chip cookie. This is one of our favorite places to eat on the way home after landing at San Diego International Airport, but you'll need to exercise a little patience when searching for parking because those opportunities are limited. I can believe it took me so long to find this spot! Best sandwiches in mission hills/ old town! Sandwiches are pricey, but huge! I couldn't even finish the second half. (Price ~17 for a whole and 12 for a half) What we got: - the hot mess- I got this in Dutch bread which was amazing. The sandwhich wasn't as spicy as I would have liked but overall hit the spot! - super Mario - classic Italian. We got it on pesto bread which, for you Italian lovers, is a must do! This will be my regular sandwhich spot when I feel like treating myself! Enjoy eaters!!

We went and the counter guy was great friendly and still stocking doing his job which I appreciate. We should have gotten our meal hot and toasty. I got basically a French dip. The au jus was tasty I should had added provolone to it in hind site. My wife also roast beef sandwich. I had the half with garlic and chees bread. She had hers on wheat. So two half sandwich's a bag of chips a can of soda and a bottle of water came with a small milk chocolate chip cookie was about €35 a bit higher than I expected for a sandwich spot, but the cost of business and all. I will go back and try a few different sandwiches. So I would give them 4.5 stars for now.also loved they had Grateful Dead playing while we ate. Go check it out for yourself and maybe get the club.

Me and my girl eat here atleast 2 times a month. Super mario is a must on the dutch crunch (bread). Have tried several flavors and all of them have been amazing. Nice little porch to eat and the cookie is a must.

They almost killed me. Their menu doesn't mention cashews are in the superfood salad. I was so sick I almost went to the hospital. Called up there and the employee told me the kale chips are crusted with cashews. Unbelievable.
