The food was good. The beans had black pepper on them which is not what I remember from other visits. The Coastal Taco Trio was delicious.The bad news, the place was dirty. Nobody was cleaning the tables and there was food spilled around the trashcan that wasn't cleaned up in the 30 minutes we were there. The worst was the mens restroom. The urinal was spilling over onto the ground. They knew about it because there was a slippery floor sign right next to it. There was also very little soap and no paper towels.Overall, I would not come back to this location. It is worth going over to the Carmel Mountain Ranch location.Parking: Rubio's is located in a shopping center with a large parking lot shared with a grocery store. Plenty of parking.

I ordered a delivery tonight and got a bowl full of rock hard rice. I can’t even eat my dinner now after it HURT my teeth to take a bite. I have been to this location before and have always had great service but this was a big disappointment from a corporation who can afford to make fresh rice.

Went here years ago and I'm just not a fast food eater anymore but lately I've stopped here twice and the appearance and taste are super. This rubios has gotten better. The quality is great and the service is outstanding.

I used to think Rubio was the greatest thing. Ate there several times a month. That was the good old days when the food prices were reasonable and the service was good. Nowadays, we got workers who can't do math when given cash instead of the ever convenient credit card and can't seem to smile unless they are staring into their iPhones. This is what happens when humans do less and less and the machines do most of the hard parts. I still love their fish tacos but won't be going as often.
I ordered a bunch of food from Rubios today for our school office staff. First of all, I tried to order on line during my short break in my morning and when I pressed order at the end it went to a blank screen and there was nothing I could do so I would've had to start over since I was ordering 6 different items. I called them and they told me to just try again but when I told them I had 50 kids in my room and that was not possible, the girl felt sorry for me and took my order. I ordered a rice bowl for myself and was super disappointed in the quality. The Mahi Mahi should not be over cooked and dried out, especially for that price. Also, they didn't give me my cup for the soda I ordered for one of the office staff and since I was in a hurry to get back, I totally forgot. Not very happy with this trip to Rubios that's for sure.

I hate to leave a bad review for rubios because we literally order from them every week but this rubios is the worst at getting the order correct, I don't know if we have ever had a correct order arrive. Today they forgot all the sides, salsa, chipotle white sauce and pico that we ordered as sides didn't arrive. My tacos did not have the avocado that are suppose to be on it and the side of quac we ordered was mostly one big hard piece of avocado and no quac to eat. 3 out of the last 4 orders drinks were not delivered. One day when we waited an hour for our order it arrived missing two meals. In calling the manager he promised to send them out as the driver forgot them, another hour later I call again and he was now rude and told me he is not responsible for DoorDash and didn't need to refund my money but he did. UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOORDASH WHEN YOUR DELIVERY IS DONE THROUGH DOORDASH, I do not have a DoorDash account, I ordered from your website and you contract with DoorDash for delivery!!! We have had too many bad deliveries from this location, we will definately order from another location going forward.

I ordered the California Bowl with chicken. It appeared to be fine at first glance, but then I tasted it. The problem with it was that there were many uncooked grains of rice in the bowl. It was basically inedible and a waste of money. Thank you for an unpleasant experience.
