I remember loving going to rubios as a kid. It was always a special treat. Going as an adult however has been eye opening. It's too expensive to justify when so many cheaper Mexican restaurants offer better options. I payed close to 40 dollars for two entrees, no drink. The portions were tiny, granted they tasted fine. Everything about the service and ambiance felt sanitized and mechanical. If you're craving Mexican food I recommend going somewhere else honestly.

My husband and mother went there to eat. they ordered food for me. it was wrong when I called I was told that, they were the one who had made it and it was correct. Not only was it wrong but it was missing an item. Had they said oh, this is what we can do instead of questionIng me. I didn't even need an apology just a solution. I cannot eat the food now. I have done my share of customer service. I know it is difficult. i would like to know what everyone thinks sauce on the side means. I guess the Rubio's by my house has spoiled me by doing the right thing.

Nowadays, even fast food is expensive. But thankfully, Rubio's still has some extremely solid deals that keep a meal cheap! I ordered two fish tacos on taco tuesday at $2.50 a piece and my husband got a $12 pollo asado burrito. They also had 5 items on their under $10 menu. Great deals that helped me get out of there with lunch for two for under $20. I really appreciated that even with the complexities I threw into our order, everything was correct! Salsa fresca was held. Each salsa I ordered was in the bag and nothing was missing. I know that bar is low, but these days, it feels like the norm. Glad the order was so quick and easy to grab and they had a nice and clean salsa bar to fill up from!

Unfortunately, their payment system isn't the greatest, and we got charged twice. When I went in to explain what happened, they tried to make it like it was my fault. While they did end up refunding my card, the whole amount was not refunded as I think they keep the tip portion.I will not be going back.

Food here is really good but my goodness this was the busiest Rubios I've ever seen during a lunch rush. The employees handled it pretty well, I think it's normal for them over there. The line was almost out the door and it was absolutely packed. Took quite a while for our food. That being said, the food was good and really fresh. I would avoid this location during the lunch rush, but otherwise worth a visit
