Ruth's Chris Steak House

Made reservations to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and they made it special where everyone acknowledged it and personalized the menu. Our server Brandon was beyond exceptional, his service was outstanding very attentive and professional. Managers also cone to make sure everything is good at the table. The food and drinks never disappointed especially their dessert the bread pudding. San Diego is 2 hours away from us but this Ruth's Chris is worth the drive. It's a must when in San Diego!!! Ask for Brandon.

As usual, whole experience was 😍 perfect. Steak, chop salad, potatoes, even the warm bread. I asked for extra butter on my filet, and it was there !

Great food! Appreciate how Ruth's Chris is always consistent. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere and a great view. The service needed some work. The server was in our table vicinity several times yet failed to check on us. She would check on one table and then walk away, moving on quickly, not even leaving us the chance to motion at her for assistance. She just seemed to lack instincts as server. She would have done well to verbally check in with her tables every time she was nearby. For us, we will return to Ruth's Chris as it's more consistently great than not.

Ruth Chris has been my go to steakhouse for years. The food is always delicious. However, they have made changes that I find to be disappointing. They are no longer serving the Lobster bisque soup, which is one of my favorites. I order the filet as usual with shrimp. The shrimp were on the skinny skimpy side. Also, they took the banana crème brûlée off the menu a while ago and never brought it back.

We cane for my son's 16th birthday and they decorated the table as well as added a personalized message in the menus. It was such a special touch. Our server was super nice and professional and the food was great! Definitely recommend for a birthday celebration!

Asked for Ceaser Salad and never came. Asked for a specific drink and was brought the wrong one. We were sat a the loneliest table there was in the whole restaurant. I was next to a fire extinguisher! We have never experienced Ruth's Chris like this past time. We always enjoy ourselves. Last night we just weren't feeling it. It sucked.

Change in menu, waitress not as attentive and very noisy. Not what we are used to with Ruth's Chris!~

It is always a wonderful experience at Ruth's Chris. I always make an effort to go every October 6 to celebrate my would be anniversary since my husband passed almost 3 years ago so when I go to Ruth Kris on October 6, it's always a very fond memory of my husband And I go throughout the year as well but October 6 holds a very special special place in my heart and everybody is always so kind and wonderful to me

I have been to Ruth Chris' Steakhouse before in other locations and this was conveniently located next to our hotel. Great food and wine and perfect before heading out to the theater.

Happy hour with friends on the deck at Ruth Chris Downtown San Diego, overlooking the Pacific Ocean eating delicious steak sandwiches. Great services. Doesn't get much better than this.

Always an amazing experience coming into Ruth Chris ; from the top notch service, to the food quality, and view. We come in several times a year to celebrate birthdays and it never disappoints ; amazing steaks, sides, salads, and coktails and wine.

Excellent service from Sergio. I had the Cowboy Ribeye and my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass. My cut was large enough for 2 people. The bass was flaky and perfectly done.

Great dining experience. Food was delicious and Sergio provided excellent customer service and care.
