Ruth's Chris Steak House

Wonderful everything! We each had the 3 course meal for $55....paid an extra $10 for the fillet but it was so worth it.

The food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. The only bummer was that we were celebrating my husband's 50th birthday (which they knew in advance), and they put us in some weird side room. It seemed like a strange accessory room, almost like an afterthought to the rest of the restaurant, which took away from the experience.

David was amazing! He gave the best experience ever. We will back to visit soon. Thank you.

Celebrated our 20th Anniversary. Been celebrating our anniversary here for the past 7-8 years. Great food, outstanding service and ambiance was superb. Steak was perfectly made, Au Gratin potatoes deliciously as always and the dessert was a great ending to a fabulous meal. The service staff was attentive and anticipated our needs and was ready when we had a request. Thank you Ruth Chris Del Mar, we will be back before our 21st anniversary.

I had a wonderful time and received great value having a family dinner at Ruths Chris. I had the tbone steak and it was excellent. I weight my food for calorie counting reasons. I measured the T bone at 20.85 oz which is exactly as advertised (considering water lost during cooking). I bring this point up because their competitor(down the street) sold me an 18 oz bone in filet mignon. after weighing it it was 9.76 oz. that is a major discrepancy in my opinion even after losing water weight after cooking. Not to mention RC steak just tasted better (ok Butter is a factor just to be fair).I feel Ruth's chris is focused on value and consistency and in a world of Inconsistency I choose ruths chris. Let the other "trendy" steak houses try to cover their opening cost with their customers hard earned dollars. I'll stick to Ruths chris for my Value. Special shout out to Brandon our server. He happen to serve us at both our visits.

It was my first time eating there, best date ever, I had the lamb chops and mashed potatoes OMG it was super delicious definitely recommended, you won't regret it.

David was a great server. Food was delicious as always. Absolutely love their lobster tails!!

My wife and I enjoyed our experience very much. Our waiter was outstanding (Patrick) we try to have him as our server everytime we dine there. The manager is very great and continually checks on his customers to ensure they meet expectations. It was my wife's birthday so it was a very special occasion. We had a great evening as always.

Usually one of our Favorite places but things were off this time . The service seemed rush and the steaks were not as good as usual. No sizzling plate and they usually melt in your mouth - but we're kind of chewy and average this time. Appetizers were good. It's usually a perfect experience, so maybe just an odd night for this location

Delicious food! Came for a work event and the space we used was private upstairs. The staff that assisted us was wonderful. Great setup for a presentation and they provided a speaker and mic. The outdoor area looked beautiful.

Steak was outstanding. Service was excellent. The appetizer and potatoes were overpowered with garlic. Garlic should enhance the food not overpower it.

I was disappointed. It's not that it's bad, it's just doesn't live up to expectations. I was here for a banquet and everything was okay, but for the price you pay you'd think it would be out of this world. I make this good of steaks at home. Overall it was a nice venue, had the things necessary for the event, service was good, but the food was meh.

We came in over Labor Day weekend to celebrate 6 months of marriage. Every single member of staff we encountered was great, from table service to our bartender, but our waiter Patrick was the highlight of the night. All his menu recommendations were spot on, from the veal ravioli appetizer to the outstanding apple crumble dessert! Our longtime favorites, the sweet potato casserole and the creme brulee, are just as wonderful as we remembered them. We left supremely satisfied with our meals and our experience. Thank you to Patrick for the care he put in to make sure everything was perfect!

The staff were all very friendly and nice.
The steaks were alright, but didn’t really seem entirely worth their prices, I ordered mine medium rare, which the waiter did repeat back and describe, but what I received was more of a medium to medium well, there was barely any level of pink to it, it was pretty much fully cooked through.
The drinks tasted very strongly of their liquor bases, without enough of their described flavors to obscure them, and took the full length of the meal to make it through. The potatoes au gratin were good, and Brussel sprouts were fine. The chocolate cake was the best part of the meal, and the only item that I’d say was great (I only wish it had a bit more raspberry).
