Got an order of the pork belly yakitori for takeout. I was surprised at how little I recieved for $12. Disappointed to say the least.

Some of the best Sushi in Southern California. Last night we did an event having Anthony the owner / chef present with 2 guests talking about the fish we were eating and the sake we were drinking. I would highly recommend trying both locations and attending one of these dinner events.

Been to Saiko a few times now...mainly for Happy Hour and Dinner. The quality of the fish is great!! Get the sashimi, get the sake. The Ritual Roll is really good! I feel like the description doesn't do it justice. The house edemame is also seasoned very well.

Thank you chef for preparing two delicious vegan rolls that weren't on the menu. I enjoyed your creativity. Food was fresh and delicious. I'll be backVegetarian options: A couple of vegetarian/vegan rolls but chef was willing to create something not on menu. It was interesting and tasty.

Saiko is our go-to for happy hour sushi deals! We love sitting up at the bar and talking to our fav bartender, Michelle. They’re typically really busy with reservations for both weeknights and weekends, but there has always been a spot at the bar for us. Fish always tastes fresh and they have fun rolls. We usually get their sake and beer pairing as well.

Good happy hour specials. Nice variety of their rolls and fish. Service was excellent at the bar, very nice wait staff. Spicy roll was just a bunch of spice seasoning on a roll which was the only thing that didn't taste great. Otherwise it's a great place to check out and get some good sushi.

We went here for their happy hour. Got the spicy tuna, spicy Opah, and salmon avocado roll. The rolls didn’t have much flavor, and I think it’s because they were using unseasoned, jasmine rice and not sushi rice. I left a bit dissatisfied… so keep that in mind when you go!

Average sushi is ruined for me now. I could taste every grain of rice. The best sushi I've ever had.

The sake flights are so fun and tasty! Service is very attentive and friendly. Everything I have tried there has been amazing. Japanese cuisine with a Gastropub twist. Get the house edamame! Mmmm. Very North Park. It's a staple for us to go out and have a good meal. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: There are a handful of options seem like they would be great for vegetarians but I would ask in case.

A friend and I came here for dinner on a weekday. Was greeted & seated right away. Great place if you want a casual, chill spot to dine in the North Park area. Our server recommended the Dear John roll. We also got the Ritual & Pieces of Eight roll. The rolls were equally flavorful & had a very unique taste. We also got miso soup & avocado crispy rice, which was ok.

I eat here once a week for the happy hour special. I highly recommend the wings and the dead John roll!
