Sally's Waterfront Dining offers a fine dining experience with amazing location on the seafront promenade, providing one of the best waterfront views of the Embarcadero Marina and the bay, boats, and a view of Coronado Bridge. The space is cool, with a large patio for seating. The food is great, delicious, incredible, and high quality. Dishes include a chicken sandwich, Baja fish tacos, a tuna bowl, kids grilled cheese, fish and chips, swordfish, mahi tacos, and stuffed mushrooms. The fish and chips are the most tastiest. The Baja tacos are delicious and fresh, with the mahi balanced with aioli and cabbage. They serve proper bread, a surprise for a European customer. For drinks, there is an ultimate bloody mary, the Driftwood cocktail, the Violet Orchard, a revolver cocktail, and Heineken zero beer. Dessert includes a flourless chocolate cake.

The service is fantastic, great, and excellent, with very nice waiters. They are accommodating, bringing off-menu chocolate milk for children and providing a water bowl and a dog menu for pets. They also provide parking validation for the Hyatt hotel’s self-parking. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, though the patio can feel busy and jammed in during peak times. It is not cheap, but you are paying for the location and experience. Overall, it is a wonderful time, a decent experience, and one of San Diego’s best kept secrets with excellent servers and a great view.
