Sally's is definitely an experience. Great food. Great service. Be prepared to pay. I would say dinner, per person, would run on average $75 per person. If alcohol is involved, of course, account for more.
Our first visit to Sally's in many years...a grey and gloomy evening prevented us from experiencing it at its best. Our server was lovely and our fish and chips were delicious. We did however have to ask repeatedly for a heater to be positioned at our table as it was a very cool evening and we were all feeling cold. For some reason they only bring out the heaters "after sunset" and not necessarily when people ask for them. It seemed odd to our group that they don't just leave the heaters outside on the patio for easy access when needed.
I was very disappointed with our experience at Sally's. My wife and I had been looking forward to this event, but it did not meet expectations. When I brought an issue to our server's attention, instead of informing management, he said he told the kitchen staff. I asked to speak with a manager, and unfortunately, her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than addressing the concern, she questioned how I perceived my steak should be cooked, completely lacking in customer service and professionalism. While they did remove the item from the bill, both staff members could benefit from training in soft skills and guest relations. Regrettably, we will not be returning.
Very nice service, food was delicious and the atmosphere is nice by the bay. We enjoyed the seafood salad, lobster roll, fish and chips. The bread is incredible and a must order!!
We're from AZ and we always visit Sally's, the food is good, the service is awesome, the view is great...the drinks could use less ice. It was my birthday and nothing special was done, dessert would have been nice, but we'll be back!
The food was OK, but the bisque was deficient in protein, and it was a bit overpriced. Beware of the 6% surcharge charged by the “hotel”
Food and service were excellent. We had the octopus and salmon which was very well cooked with excellent sauces.
Great location at marina Good food options Noisy but that suited us fine as we had kids A bit pricey but understandable for San Diego water restaurant No dish was amazing but all good enough
For $94 I got one glass of french sparkling rose wine thst benefitted from a lot of ice, a wedge salad lacking in blue cheese flavor or blue cheese, and a plate of undercooked fish and chips. Sent the fish back to be re-cooked. Staff was attentive except for not being able to explain where a 6% surcharge on the bill goes Boildown: go for the view and a drink and dine elsewhere unless you enjoy throwing money into the bay
Amazing food and service!! Great prices, staff, and delicious food!!

Have been a few times and it's always good food. This time it was the tomahawk pork chop, the best one I've had in a long time. I will continue to visit.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Sally's. Our reservation was accurate. Beautiful location. Good food. Juan provided excellent service.
Food was ordinary, space for dogs is great, waiter was average. Host staff offered a heater, it was brought out along with others, but not started until it was time for dessert. $19 for a basic g&t........
When I'm in San Diego, I love eating here. It is great seafood and drinks, in a great atmosphere where you are sitting outside, watching the boats, the water, and the people.
