We've been there at least three times for dinner. The menu is creative, the food is excellent and the service is top notch. We particularly enjoy taking friends who visit us in Del Mar.

Been here several times and it's a real gem. The service is excellent and everyone seems to be enjoying their work. The vibe is great and the open air dining area is comfortable and you're actually able to carry on a conversation without a noisy background, unlike many other restaurants these days. The free parking in their adjacent garage makes it so convenient, and it's dog friendly as well. But most importantly the food is better than ever . Everything is so good, especially the shrimp tacos, guacamole, chicken tacos, etc. There's a large menu with wide variety of Mexican dishes plus non-traditional ones as well. This has become our favorite restaurant in the Del Mar area.

If you’re in the Del Mar area this is a must. Great food, amazing service. Handmade tortillas, everything so fresh. Made it here for happy hour that has delicious items to choose from. Most of all I appreciated how dog friendly they are. I will definitely be back and as a San Diego native I will be bringing all my friends. My new favorite spot! ❤️

Most expensive place in Del Mar by far - way more than Jake's or Poseidon on the water. Beer $12, single taco $9. Salad with chx $28. Just insane for a mediocre place.

PHENOMENAL! The food was absolutely delicious. We got the queso fundido and sweet and sour popcorn shrimp appetizers, and then some tacos for main meal. I had the quesabirria taco and it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, it was sooooo good. The restaurant is trendy, love the decor and the atmosphere, seating lets you enjoy the great weather and views. Plus all of the staff and the owner were super nice and appreciative! 10/10 would recommend and I wish we weren’t flying back to NY cause I would eat here all the time!

A Vibrant Dining Experience!

Went to Salt + Lime and loved it! The place has such a fun, colorful vibe with flowers, cactus, and these cool pink lights inside. It feels lively but still comfortable.

The food was fresh and flavorful — you can tell they use good ingredients. Food was amazing, I didn’t even want to share. The cocktails are a must-try, especially anything with their fresh lime (seriously, so refreshing).

Service was great too — friendly without being overbearing. You can tell the staff actually enjoys working here. Definitely coming back, and next time I’m bringing friends so we can try more of the menu.

Excellent tacos on fresh tortillas with delicious pineapple salsa on both the grilled fish and chicken tacos. The chips were cooked & seasoned just right and served with two types of salsa. Staff was friendly and we could see the ocean across the street from our table. Parking was easy at 3:30pm on a Monday in small retail lots next door.

The middle of the bone marrow pieces for my bone marrow quesadilla were cold. The outside was super hot tho so I don't know what they did. Temperature aside, it was just an okay quesadilla.

This place needs help! Basically lack of experience running a restaurant. It seems like the food was old and reheated. Not coming back for sure.

Nice place! But very disappointed on the food. It is not good whatsoever! And overpriced. $9 for a carne asada taco. My boyfriend ordered 3 because the waiter said they were very small (they’re not) he forced himself to eat 1. The drinks are not good either.

The Salt and Lime is a small Mexican restaurant with a view of the Pacific Ocean, in Del Mar. The menu is à la carte. The chicken taco was good. The Birria taco was just ok. The fish taco was mostly cabbage, and little fish. The rice and beans had no flavor. The salt and lime cocktail was good. The michilada was good. The best item that we ordered at the restaurant was the hot salsa…. Boy, was it hot and tasty.

Service was good and the view was very nice. The high prices keep the riffraff out.

This is some place I would NOT recommend to my family and friends. I would definitely pass, if I was in the area again.
