Saw a picture on Instagram where this business advertised and awesome chocolate waffle cone with what looked like four scoops of ice cream. I went onlynto find they did not offer a chocolate waffle cone and the ice cream is too soft/melty to do more than two scoops! Flavors were a disappointment with only one chocolate option.

Their coffee love nuts ice cream is beyond amazing. Super good, I'm so obsessed with that. I hope they don't remove it from their menu.

Bosco was the best! I thought I was coming in for a quick cone and he made it an entire experience! He encouraged us to try flavors until we found the one we wanted. 12/10 recommend if Bosco is working.

The Salt and Straw at One Paseo in Del Mar was a stop we made on a “girls weekend” in San Diego. We’d like to thank Shahin who greeted us with warmth, enthusiasm and proudly served us samples until we made our final choices. He appeared sincere and listened intently to our own ice cream stories (what better place to share favorite flavors than an ice cream shop!) Shahin gets our award for BEST SERVICE EVER!

I have been here twice. Personally I am not vegan or seek out vegan options when eating anywhere. But I have never had ice cream like this before. Every flavor I have tried has been great. Try it out! It will change the way you try ice cream.
