This is a hidden gem amongst the Italian restaurants in San Diego. Their menu is diverse, service incredible and drinks delicious. You gotta try their pizza. Food and service was good. We were told happy hour is only available if you sit at the bar or outside which was not clear prior to us going. With kids we could not do that so we did not get happy hour prices.
This restaurant is beautiful—the decor is amazing. However, we struggled to love it. Our server had a thick accent and the music over our table was so loud that we couldn’t understand him and he had to constantly repeat himself. He couldn’t hear us either, asking us to repeat everything we said. Having a conversation with our friends was almost impossible. The food was ok, but the experience was so frustrating that I think it affected our attitude about it. We probably wouldn’t...
