The food was standard and bland, totally uninspired. The atmosphere, staff, and the customers seemed old and stale, like stuck in 1999.

That's it. Sammy's is officially blacklisted. Never again. A glass of wine, iceberg lettuce with four pieces of shrimp should not cost $50!

I quit going to Sammy’s probably six years ago over the sneaky surcharge. That was just really poor business practice; a small notation on the bottom of the menu obviously didn’t catch most peoples' eyes. It is, in fact, why the law changed in 2024 to require businesses to no longer be allowed to tack on miscellaneous excess fees but instead be required to display the full charge upfront.

The quality of the food was pitiful; the lettuce wasn’t crisp and cold; there were maybe four slivers of tomato throughout the entire $23 salad and it was overdressed with way too much dressing. It was kind of like eating green mush.

Sammy's... Never again!
Don't waste your money.
There are so many other places to choose from with palatable, in fact delectable food, for reasonable prices.
This company doesn’t deserve your business or mine.

The happy hour food prices from 3 - 6pm make it much more affordable. The food was great, as was the service.

This place is a great local place. Great food, we had fantastic service. Nice place with lots of food options, inside and outside dining. We came back for a second time while visiting this area.

We went to Sammy's for Father's Day and did not have a good experience. We had Synergy Gift cards and were told that we could not receive the 50% off Happy Hour price for the appetizers we ordered because the gift cards were considered a form of a discount. The manager would not let us split the bill or accommodate us in any way concerning the discount. The money is not really the issue. It's about the fact that I called ahead and asked the restaurant if they accepted the gift cards and they never mentioned that there were any restrictions. I will not be returning to eat there and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We got the chicken taquitos and they were to die for. Definitely only enough for 2 people but still amazing. I got the Bob’s Cobb salad and it was the best salad I ever had. My boyfriend got the wagyu burger and said it was good as well. Our food took a little bit of time so the waiter offered us a free sundae, which we enjoyed. The waiter was awesome, if I could only remember his name. Thank you guys!

My brother ordered carne asada tacos..2 VERY small tacos and some burnt chips on side...$18.50, sister in law got chopped chicken salad...very little chicken and a few mozzarella pieces, had to ask for dressing...$18.50...I had lobster bisque..$14.50...no bread or crackers! Plus a 5% surcharge! We go there every time they visit, but will be finding a new place to eat....so disappointing!

If you’re looking for a restaurant to please everyone Sammy’s is the spot to go to. They have a very extensive menu including salads, sandwiches, tacos, pastas, fish and their signature woodfired pizzas. And of course you have to get their amazing desserts like the messy sundae or the dessert pizzas. Sammy’s has one of the best happy hours too. Everyday from 3-6 pm enjoy select appetizers at 50% off and $2 off beer and wine...

I had a horrible experience with the manager named Shyan. Not sure if that's spelled correctly. Anyway, I ordered the large chopped chicken salad using Uber Eats on Wednesday, 12/13/2022. I specifically put notes that I wanted balsamic dressing, tomatoes, and sourdough bread with butter for a family size. I received a large salad with a few tomatoes. It was not enough tomatoes even for an individual chopped chicken salad. There were only 2 small pieces of sourdough bread with no butter. Lastly, it came with Italian dressing, which my wife is allergic to. I called Sammy's and the manager, Shyan answered. I explained to Shyan what I ordered and how I specifically put notes on my order. Shyan was very short and extremely rude. There was no customer service, concern or care for my issue. Shyan didn't say anything when I explained how my wife is allergic to the Italian dressing. Shyan needs extensive training on how to treat customers. I love the food at Sammy's and it's too bad that I had to submit a 1 star. However, this is only towards Shyan and the lack of customer service along with not beingcordial. I really don't understand how some managers think that it's ok to abuse that position. ?
