I lived in San Diego for years and come back to visit regularly. Santana's is usually a stop we make. The portions aren't what they used to be and the prices continue to go up. We will keep going for nostalgia I'm sure but they need to address those issues. If you can wrap half the tortilla around thE whole CA burrito more than once, the filling is too light.

Drive-through visit. I ordered a large horchata and a surf-and-turf burrito. The burrito was solidly delicious (4 stars), but the horchata was disappointing (2 stars), especially on Día de Muertos. We also asked at the window to have the burrito cut in half, and it wasn’t done as requested.

Ordered through Grubhub, the green chilaquiles was pretty good and the Adobada taco was excellent!
Carne asada was grilled nicely, juicy and tasted how it's supposed to. Oh, and A LOT of meat in the burritos. 😊 Salsas (orange, red & green) are the Best I've ever tasted, and have tasted a lot. Guacamole was really good too, not too oniony. I think I'll go again tonight!

Came tonight to order food through the drive thru, absolutely slow as a snail service & then got to the windows rude & slow & not caring for customer feeling, just super disrespectful & sad service. I would like regular servers that know there customers instead having to wait 20 minutes to order & get served, ridiculous. Also, the person at the register wouldn't let me see what the total was & what I tipped which was rude so id like a refund cause that was rude & disrespectful. Also, I asked for half an order of carnesa fries & when I got to the windows he said a full order & I said no so he said gets going to take a little longer to get your order & I was already irritated so I just said give it to me & left but poor customer service & very disappointing
