Santana's Mexican Food is a go-to spot for fast, delicious Mexican food San Diego style. The restaurant offers good-sized portions at acceptable prices, with highlights including fresh corn tortillas, delicious carne asada fries, and tasty aguas frescas. The bean & cheese burrito is very yummy, and the steak&egg breakfast burrito is top quality. Santana's salsa game is also one of the best, with all the salsas being delicious. The staff is nice and efficient, and the food is always great. The quesadilla was delicious, too, and had mushrooms in it with adobada meat. The Shrimp Burrito with Garlic Mojo is recommended. Santana's is a very clean place with ample parking. The dining room is beautiful and good for large parties. They have three types of salsas, and the medium colored one is a favorite.
