Easily the best ramen in all of San Diego, and on a price to quality ratio completely crushes everyone else. The only drawback is that it's usually busy enough that it's hard to find seating.

Santouka ramen, who doesn't know?! Always tied with Mitsuwa supermarket.
Anyway, good ramen, rich savoury soup broth, salty, noodle is ok, just right. Portion is ok, price is decent.

Fantastic ramen. Quickly prepared and pipping hot. Took me right back to Kapan for almost an hour.

great value and super convenient! but most importantly I love the portions. the small size is superb, and still very filling. I especially liked the chashu pork.
some tables and a bar area for single patrons. I believe the seating area has decreased since I last seen it pre-COVID around September/October 2019.
cash only, no cards or digital payment.
also a side note, they don't serve sprite here but they do have 7-up!

Great quick simple ramen food court located at an convienence place inside mitsuwa market. The ramen broth here taste just right and is better than the one at Mitsuwa in San Jose. The one in SJ is a bit salty sometimes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Ramen. Spicy Miso is definitely their signature ramen. Rich in flavor with just the right amount of spiciness. Shio (Sea Salt) is one of the best my son has ever had as he is allergic to soy. Great value. Highly Recommend.
Dietary restrictions: Shio is a great (sometimes the only) option for ramen lovers who are allergic to soy.

Great but not quite as al dente noodles as the Mar Vista location in Los Angeles. Get the salt ramen

Price to quality ratio is very much on point. Ramen was quite delicious and everything you would expect (plus a little more) from a working man's lunch; it was $12.95 for a large shio.
The thing that delivered most for this bowl of goodness was the broth. The salt content was well balanced and provided just enough depth of flavor to satisfy all of your umami cravings. The noodles were delightfully springy, and the bamboo + mushrooms were well incorporated, even if they added more texture than taste. The roasted pork had good flavor, but was a bit too tough. The lowest point was the egg I added, which was hard boiled (blasphemy), and definitely made the dish worse…I left it unfinished.
I cannot speak for the non-soup offerings, but in all it was worth my time. Any ramen lover would be satisfied.

Very good ramen and can be busy at time. Taste just like what I had in Japan and I am Japanese :). Happy to see a real Japanese ramen shop in San Diego!
