My friend Karen took me to lunch and I got a salad and had a piece of pizza ? IT was delicious and fresh veggies. The chef came out to see if we liked our food ? Our waitress was also great!

We stopped in for lunch and we loved this place. The owner seated us and served us, so the service (and conversation) was outstanding. As nice and attentive as she was, the pizza was the star of the show. Some of the best crust and sauce we have had in San Diego and the cheese and toppings were high quality too. Top all that off with a fun, but still family vibe and a nice beer and wine selection, and you have yourself a winner. Find your way to Pacific Beach to enjoy this little gem - they’re doing things the right way here.

We really wanted to find a local pizza joint to support so we tried our sauces. The owner is very kind and her enthusiasm made me optimistic, but when I got home and got into the food we were both disappointed. They claim to use fresh, in-house ingredients but that did not appear to be the case. The crust was brittle, the marinara sauce lacked any body, and the vegetables looked anemic. The homemade pesto tasted exactly like one of the jarred varieties found in a supermarket. If this was homemade, then there is no way fresh basil or garlic was used due to the bitter taste and dark green coloration of the sauce. I do wish them the best, but this was not the quality pizza joint I was hoping to find

If you're looking for super high quality Italian American food, you've found it. The owner is super nice and attentive, everything was made to order in a very timely manner, and yes, the sauce absolutely slaps! Definitely try the meatball appetizer!Kid-friendliness: Classic pizza place atmosphere and many kid friendly foods makes this place perfectly fine for kids and adults alike.
