We stumbled upon this place by pure luck. We ordered #1 beef shawarma sandwich. While we waited we couldn't help but smell how great the food smelled from the ppl seating next to us. Our order was ready in less than 15 minutes. We are in our car since it was really hot and humid outside. Our order was packaged perfectly. Now to the food itself, the fries were cooked perfectly and the seasoning overtop definitely added a great flavor. It was our first time trying this type of sandwich and I'll tell you we were impressed. It had such a great flavor combination. We will definitely be back to try more things.

Life changing shawarma here at this food truck. I ordered the #5 beef shawarma plate and my wife ordered the Greek salad plus chicken on top which she loved and said was "super bomb" and gives 10 out of 10 rating, I shared my shawarma plate with my 9 year old and he loved it as much as I did. Our other son prefers the mariscos trucks next door so he kinda missed out, but not really because fish tacos are as good as holographic charizard Pokémon cards in his world. we will definitely become regulars here at this heavenly new institution that is a major plus for our little neighborhood. Thanks guys for making this day even better than it already was. AND TO LOUISE M., who gave a 1 star review based on PPE masks, really? Like really? You have the audacity, and so does karma. Have fun with that.

It's wonderful, dont know where my 1st review went but here's the 2nd. Trying the chicken this time and better tgan the beef, which is the best. I drive to el cajon normally and now i dont go any further than right here.

If you LOVE Mediterranean Food - this is the place to be. It's sort of tucked away on the corner of Main and Industrial, off the 5 Freeway in the South Bay. There are shared counters for you to eat your yummy food fresh when you get it. Ordering is easy as can be. You can order ahead on Door Dash for free or even have Door Dash deliver you food to your lazy butt. IMO, order ahead of time and eat it fresh. I usually get the Chicken Tika Plate. Comes with a surprisingly juicy marinated chicken breast, yellow rice, hummus, pita bread, charred tomato and tabbouleh salad. all of these things I mentioned are absolutely fantastic. The Shawarma is wonderful. The meat is always tender and tasty and the wrap is also great. So much flavor in the food at Secret Shawarma. The guys that work in the truck, oh yea, it's a food truck, anyway - these guys have great customer service skills. Give this place a shot, much better than any other Mediterranean spot I've been to in the city. I'm so happy to have this place in the South Bay!

This place is a breath of fresh air in the Southbay. We don't get many options like this outside of tacos, Ceviches, taco shops , etc etc mostly fast food here in the South Bay too.. This place is extremely delicious everything I've tried so far has been a hit.. I do recommend the chicken tikka masala plate .. Please keep up the good work..

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was today. First time here. Ive had shwarama food truck food many times before, but must admit the Secret Shwarama was by far the best. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate which came topped with garlic sauce. It came with saffron rice, tabouleh, hummus and pita bread. The food was sooo fresh and tasty and almost like home made. I will definitely drive a few extra miles down the I-5 the next time Im looking for great middle eastern food. No need to go to El Cajon. Already looking forward to my next lunch at Secret...

I generally don't do 5 stars because 5 stars is saying this is a perfect place to eat, but this place is way more deserving than 4 stars. I came here because of the Yelp reviews. I was skeptical when first approaching because of the area. But the food was amazing. I got the Chicken Tikka plate. Authentic taste! Good portions! Definitely exceeded my expectations. One pitfall is the inaccurate menu price. Menu says $12, I was charged $12.99. I would definitely recommend this to a friend!
Been here twice in the last week, and plan on visiting as often in the future. First ordered the Chicken Tikka plate, then the Beef Shawarma plate: Loved the tabouli and hummus, tasted fresh and complimented the meat so well. Rice was fluffy, and meat is flavorful! Just delicious.

It was great lunch at the beach. I call them 20 min before come and order to pickup. When I came - everything was ready. Lunch at the beach with fresh ocean was perfect.

I accidentally discovered this wonderful bistro on wheels. The Secret Shawarma is parked and open for business 11 to 8 everyday but Sunday.. I've had their beef shawarma sandwich and the secret fries.the food is prepared fresh when you order it do the wait may be 10-15min. But it's worth it. Both times one of the guys in the truck have me a delicious little sample of the lentil soup! Yum the sandwich was delicious and i had the Secret Fries half chicken and half beef. The sauced on top were mustard and Tum (emulsified garlic olive oil). The sauces on the beef were tasty but I'm not quite sure what they were...must be a secret, shhhh! ? I'm loving this place!!

I wish there were more stars to give! The food is amazing and the customer service they give is outstanding! I recently tried their chicken shawarma sandwich in a pita while on my lunch break at work and I couldn't wait to come back and try the steak. This time I ordered the steak shawarma in a pita and a philly. I asked them to put the philly in a pita too (because that toasted pita is THAT good!) and it did not disappoint! This place is definitely a 'go to' spot for me from now on!
