Serpentine Cider | University Heights

I stumbled upon this bar while exploring the neighborhood and ended up staying for hours. It has a rustic interior, friendly staff, and an impressive list of craft beers — both local and international. The bartender was super knowledgeable and let me sample a few before I picked my favorite. They also had board games available, which made the night even more fun. Solo or with friends — great place to chill.

I recently tried Cider Evolved, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The quality is outstanding – you can really taste the craftsmanship in every sip. What impressed me the most was how they managed to keep the sugar content low without compromising on flavor. It’s rare to find a cider that’s both refreshing and so tasty! If you’re looking for a high-quality cider that’s flavorful and mindful of sugar content, Cider Evolved is the way to go. Highly recommend!

I LOVE this place!!!! I get a few crowlers every week or two. I love that they rotate their menu frequently, but it can be a bummer when my favorites go away!

Love the trivia night on Tuesdays! You can bring outside food so I often grab some Gnarly Girl Pizza across the street. Also - dog friendly!

My faves are: Strawberries & Cream, Blueberry Lavender, Pineapple Ube, Sour Cherry, & Cherry Vanilla. SO good - it’s the only cider I’ve tried that doesn’t give me a headache in the morning.

We had a chance to come back here after a couple years and the cider is just at fresh and yummy as last time. The only natural ingredients really shine through. They let us bring outside food to enjoy with their ciders. Very chill space and enjoy sitting at their window watching time go by. Check them out!

Hole in the wall location. Great cider, with enough variety for the hop-heads and “ew, beer” crowds in your life. Small batch means some differences between visits but they never miss. Reasonable prices, seasonal flavors, events, and fantastic bartenders — became a regular after my second visit, years ago. Love these guys.

Had a great time here with our friends the day after our wedding. The team at Serpentine Cider was welcoming and their selection of ciders (I love cider but not a huge beer gal) was awesome -- from flights to individual pours, all of the ones I tried were delicious. The patio was perfect for having everyone on to hang out and mingle. Wish we were locals so we could have more fun gatherings here, but definitely recommend!

Love this place honestly. Sooo many good ciders. And all of them and flavorful. And some creative cider options you’ve probably never had. They are head and shoulders above Bivouac (the other option in the general neighborhood).
