We took our kids here around 6-7pm. I suspect that going earlier in the evening helps with the restaurant not being crowded. We were able to get a table right away.The drinks... the coconut margarita is way too sweet to be called a margarita. The horchata martini is sweet but more manageable. This Serrano's Street Tacos & Bar restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying at for the weekend and we were very happy we did. It was literally at the back of Andaz Hotel in the Gas Lamp District and it was as authentic as can be! We had amazing margaritas and tacos "tasting" where we were able to taste all flavors of tacos.
