I am so sad this place is closing!! I like my coffee black, strong, and not starbucks… I don’t understand why both starbucks and shaka can coexist!! 2 different coffee profiles for sure. Aggressive market expansion tactics from Starbucks ?

First photo is from yesterday. Second two from today.Great price for strong, bold coffee. I paid $7 for a 32 ounce macchiato, including oat milk.If you want real coffee in a nice-sized cup for a great price. This place is meant for you.

I'm a huge fan of Hawaiian coffee so I knew I had to check out this little coffee stand. I usually like my coffee sweet but this was wayyy too sweet I got tired of drinking it after several sips. We also got the Peanut Butter "Banzai" bowl but something about it just tasted strange. We both ended up only taking a few bites and throwing it away. Overall, I think both were just too sweet for my liking. Since it was a small little shack there was an option to "drive-thru" or walk up. We opted for the walk up to order. The ladies were nice but something about this place didn't feel clean. While we were waiting for our order the table that was provided just seemed really dirty, and I swore I could have smelt the trash bins behind their shop.

It's so refreshing to have seen an immediate improvement of service. I'd recommend that if your experience was not great them give them another chance. The young lady serving was pleasant, engaged and productive. Definitely practicing Aloha. That was a great tasting drink. One of the best I have tried in San Diego. Mahalo nui loa.

Convenient cute coffee shop you can walk or drive up to when you're on the go. Shaka Coffee has good Hawaiian coffee and great service! They are fast and friendly.

The girls working there were very rude, they didn't look at me the whole time they were taking my order. And they made my drink wrong and I asked them nicely and she rolled her eyes and was upset that I asked her to make it again very nicely

Always the greatest service. If only other coffee shops would follow Shaka's exemplar's customer service.

Came by for an acai and was severely disappointed in the quality, the acai tasted off and some of my strawberries were going bad. Not going back.

I got the vanilla macadamia cold brew with a splash of oat milk. I like that the cold brew doesn't have syrup for flavor. The coffee beans are different for their different flavors of cold brew. They made my drink quickly. It was under 5 dollars for a 16 ounce which is a rarity these days. I recommend trying this spot.
