Been going to shop for years in recent months the chocolate has been bought from other places other than UK hence not tasting the same it’s expensive so you would expect to get what you paid for instead you can expect a label that’s not in English or from NZ or Australia and the taste way below what you know and love from the UK ! Don’t bother order on line from a real British shop !

Hugely disappointing !!!!

The only place in San Diego you can find a Curly Wurly, proper Dairy Milk, Monster Munch, Ambrosia Rice Pudding, Bakewell Tarts and most everything you miss or never had from Blighty.

Absolutely loved it. Great place to find crumpets!

My kids have gone here multiple times- for tea, for snacks, for tea set shopping- and the staff have always been extremely courteous and kind. The store itself is quaint and the goods for sale are high quality, albeit relatively pricey. 5/5 ☕🍵🍬

Shakespeare’s Corner Shoppe provides “Everything from Britain without the weather.” Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff! The Shoppe features full British and Irish groceries, candies, English bakery with baked foods, English café patio, souvenirs, clothing, china, and English bone china rental. Delicious, fresh-baked, authentic British Scones, Cornish Beef Pasty, and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The covered patio provides a cozy spot to enjoy traditional British delicacies and teas. The Shoppe also features delightfully British, traditional Afternoon Tea at The Britannia Tearooms. The Shoppe is adjacent to the Shakespeare Pub.

Had a wonderful afternoon having English breakfast tea with some amazing Cornish pasties and sausage rolls. I definitely recommend it.

When you’re feeling homesick, nothing like going to the Shakespeare shop to get some supplies. I taste of back home

Really beautiful tea shop! Employees are amazing and there’s a bunch to choose from. I truly felt like I was back in London! The store overall is small and cozy but sort of organized, I will definitely be going back since they have so much merchandise to choose from!

I give this place 5 stars although it’s not as fancy as some others, this place is very genuine and delicious! It’s a way to try British food and amazing tea! What I love about this place is they let you choose other teas to try! I love coming in the spring time since the seating is outside. Very lovely place
