Ya’ll, tell me why I haven’t gone to this place sooner. I’m so impressed it’s not even funny. I got the wagyu bowl with french fries and it’s hit all the spots, especially since it included TABOULI!!!! I am a tabouli lover. Yum yum, will come back!
The cashier was friendly and explained the sauce options thoroughly. The wagyu beef shawarma was tender, and the rice, tabouleh, and hummus that came with the plate were pretty tasty. Unfortunately, I felt like the meat tasted overwhelmingly of allspice. The fries and sauces were pretty good though. Maybe it was an off day for them.
This is my third time trying this location. Each time I thought we just tried the wrong thing. I've tried most of their menu now and I have been disappointed each time. Today the vegan shawarma plate was very salty and had a taco mix packet flavor, we just threw it out. My beef and chicken shawarma was dry and oily at the same time, but the salt level and seasoning was pretty good. Pita bread was hard, like it had been wrapped in foil for hours.
