People stand outside between the Smoke Shop and the Chicken place and smoke. This sometimes makes the Shawarma Shack smell STRONGLY of smoke and sets off my wife's asthma. This is the reason I gave one star instead of five

This place is truly a gem! The food is of excellent quality, the staff is amazing, and the atmosphere is beautiful. As someone with a Middle Eastern background, I can confidently say that this spot offers the best Mediterranean cuisine. I highly recommend it as my new go-to place in Pacific Beach!

Ordered on grubhub. Fries were standout, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Beef shawarma was on point, gyro was mid but acceptable. Sauces were great, salad was nice, pricing not too bad. Only real complaint was the pepperoncini were not spicy at all, had to use my own. Solid place overall, just a few improvements to be 5 stars.

Dried, bland, not a lot of food for what you get. Got a plate of beef, chicken, and fries. Both the meat was super dry, like it was on the spit all day. Literally beef jerky. Service was just average. Didn't seem like they really care. Save your money and go somewhere else, or next door to the chicken place.

Quality quality quality ! This is probably my new favorite shawarma spots in SD. Came here after going swimming at the beach and I was super hungry. Me and my buddy got the build your own wrap which included gyro and French fries. We shared and each bite you can take the quality in it. We got 4 tacos each with a different meat. We got the promotion buy 3 get 1 free. I got the chicken & beef shawarma plate and it was probably the best shawarma l've had. We shareo the hummus which was so good and ask about the Greek donuts for dessert you won't regret it. Restaurant was clean and the service was good which is always a plus!

Where to start!!! I have these guys a call for pricing on food catering for my brothers 40th birthday party. They did not disappoint!!!! From the hospitality to the appearance and beyond! Blew away all expectations. All of the guests enjoyed the freshness and deliciousness of the food. Presentation was spectacular. Highly recommended for catering for events. Can not say enough about the Shawarma Shack. Thank you guys! Just got all of my future business!
We used SS to cater a seminar in downtown (the second time our group has done so). Both times they have been easy to work with (despite a challenging budget), and the food has been consistently delicious.
Delicious shawerma! Build your own wrap with authentic sauces and toppings. I tried it the first time tonight, will be back for more.

This is amazing swarma with insanely sweet service. We go once a week with all our friends, we all love it. Fresh and yummy and I'd highly recommend this spot especially for a quick healthy lunch.

Beef shawarma was chewy, baba ghanoush was very bland, and for the price we expected a lot more. It’s seems that the owner likes to deceive potential customers by shooting down honest reviews. Yes, I’m talking about the Shawarma Shack on Garnet.

What a find!!!
The wife and I were down in PB last night and needed a little bite to eat. We felt like sumptin a little different and we saw the Shak.
We ordered 2 Chicken Shawarma Tacos, a beef shawarma taco, a falafel taco, and a side of basmati rice.
My wife swapped out the Tzatziki sauce for the tahini sauce on her chicken and fella tacos.
I added in their spicy aioli in addition to the tzatziki sauce.
We loved the tacos. I was skeptical of the feta versus cheddar (like on Mexican tacos). but it was really good. Their feta is really good.
The shells were toasted and just slightly crispy...so good.
The meat was really tasty.
We'll be back.
Parking: Kind of a small lot. We found parking on a Tuesday Night. But it's PB...so what'ya gonna do but deal with it.
