Really nice hotel breakfast. I had the French toast one day and the salmon bagel the next. Both were very tasty! The service was very attentive and the coffee was the perfect temperature, not too hot, but just right to start sipping.

I had the pleasure of dining here during a weekend getaway, and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was intimate and charming, with soft lighting and great music. The duck confit was tender and flavorful, and the accompanying mashed sweet potatoes were a perfect match. The dessert menu was tempting, and I went with the crème brûlée, which was smooth and creamy with a perfectly caramelized top.

We went to have breakfast at this place last week, and the service ruined it for us. We had to wait to be seated, even though the server, Gustavo, was in front of us the entire time. He didn't bother to acknowledge our presence. After we were seated and ordered, the food didn't come out for 30 minutes. When I asked him to check on our order, he said it's almost done, but when the food came out, it was lukewarm. Furthermore when I asked for extra plate, he didn't give us one. We had to ask from the other server, which was much nicer than him. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Great Service and Delicious Food at Shor!! I had to write this to say that my daughter and I ate at Shor during our stay at the Hyatt La Jolla and it was some of the best, friendliest service we have ever experienced! Melanie, Romy and Oliver were amazing and not only made sure we had a nice meal but that we were in a comfortable table - it was a bit cold from the main doors opening a lot for a conference so my daughter was even offered a throw to keep her warm! We felt so pampered by the nice folks at Shor and highly recommend it!

We dinned in the evening so we didn’t get to see the view but food, wine and service fantastic! It was very cold inside so they gave us a blanket ? and were visiting from Seattle. Air conditioning was uncomfortable.

The location is truly out of this world! Nestled right on the beach, it offers an incredible view of the waves rolling in and out—such a unique and relaxing setting. We decided to sit at the bar, where the bartender was super friendly and made us a delicious raspberry lemon drop with fresh ingredients. We were hungry but found that nothing on the menu really stood out for us at the moment, so we just enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. It’s a great spot to sit at the bar, take in the chill vibes, and soak up the stunning view. There’s valet and street parking.

It's one of my favorite places to go for food and ambiance. The food experience is out of this world. The flavors are on point. The servers are very attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is like no other. I highly recommend you spoil your spouse on that special occasion. If you can find a better all-around restaurant, please let me know. I will be returning when in town.
