Shorehouse Kitchen Reviews
Hostess was incredibly rude. My sister has a service dog and we came for brunch I called ahead of time and were told it was dog friendly and we have a licensed service dog. We were seated and then told the dog could not sit next to her and had to be on the ground. My sister has seizures and the dog must be next to her We were told they would not serve us unless she put the dog on the ground. Do not bother with this establishment service is rude and they are overpriced
So many delicious options 😋 , fast and friendly service

Shorehouse Kitchen offers a wonderful dining experience with amazing food and service. The menu features a variety of options, including fish, chicken, salads, and kids' meals, making it suitable for diverse dietary needs. The restaurant has outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the water and a kid-friendly area downstairs. Although parking can be challenging, especially on weekends, there are a few spots available in the alleyway. Prices are a bit high, but the portion sizes are reasonable and the quality of food is worth it. Brunch items, such as Kyoto and flatbread, are consistently good and served quickly, even on busy weekends.
Recently, customers have praised the breakfast options, especially the cornmeal pancakes, calling them "soo delicious" with the "best coffee ever" when visiting La Jolla Shores. The atmosphere remains relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a coastal morning or afternoon. The menu includes favorites like the breakfast sandwich and Benedicts, which are described as rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The drink selection, with great coffee and refreshing mimosas, adds to the enjoyable experience. Visitors also appreciate the cute dog menu, making it a great spot for those out with their pups.
Service is friendly and attentive, though busy times may bring a wait for food, which is always considered worth it. Guests find Shorehouse Kitchen to be a very nice breakfast and brunch spot in La Jolla, with many looking forward to returning and trying new dishes. Overall, it remains a laid-back place with ample indoor and outdoor seating, offering consistently good food and a welcoming atmosphere.
