Great restaurant and atmosphere, creative dishes. Probably one of the best hashbrowns I've ever had and a variety of healthy options.

It was nice, good food, nice seats, good atmosphere, overall, a very good experience.

A La Jolla Brunch Favorite!

Shorehouse Kitchen is one of my go-to spots in La Jolla for brunch. Whether I’m coming with friends, family, or even larger groups, it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming—perfect for a coastal morning or afternoon.

I’ve tried a lot on the menu, but the breakfast sandwich is my all-time favorite. Their Benedicts are also a solid choice—rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The drink menu is also a win, with great coffee options and refreshing mimosas to round out the meal.

One of the cutest things about this place? They have a dog menu! It’s the perfect touch if you’re out with your pup (which many people are in this area).

Service is always friendly, though it can be busy during peak times, so a bit of a wait for food is sometimes part of the experience. That said, it’s always worth it.

If you’re looking for a laid-back, consistently great brunch spot in La Jolla, I highly recommend Shorehouse Kitchen.

Had lunch here, appears the Shorehouse Kitchen is more of a breakfast restaurant then anything else. As dishes past our table with breakfast, they looked amazing. We split a pesto chicken sandwich, it was okay, lacked some flavor and the tiny fries were overcooked and cold. I would recommend breakfast here.

Excellent breakfast, esp the cornmeal pancakes...OMG sooo delicious & best coffee ever when visiting La Jolla Shores area!!! Thanks again to Miss Riley for the coffee 411...you rock!!! ☕️😉

I still remember going here years ago with some friends for breakfast and we took so many shots of tequila that they bought more glasses. It’s not that we wanted to it’s that we had to because my friend has a rare condition that requires it. Highly recommend. Also their chicken sandwich is absolutely phenomenal and I still think about it to this day. Bless the staff, management and the owner. I hope one day I will be able return to this glorious place.

I had avocado toast and asked for my egg over easy. The egg was over cooked. A little skimpy on the avocado. Nice patio dining in La Jolla Shores.

This was our second time here and we loved it again. Mykol was so attentive and helpful as he responded to our need to catch our flight. Our food and drinks came so fast along with our check. It calmed our nerves about making our flight. The food and drinks are always top notch. We’ll be back to try new items. Thank you!

We are a big family of 10 visiting from Los Angeles on a Sunday morning. Brunch here was absolutely excellent probably some of the best pancakes I have ever had. Also the menu has something for everyone.

Special thanks to Fabio that helped us get seated and Patrick for the excellent service. We know it can be a challenge to serve a family with several young children, and the team here made us feel right at home and provided a great experience ! Thanks again !

We went here for a late lunch on a Saturday. We thought the wait would be very long, but we were seated immediately (there were two of us). Unfortunately, we ordered our food and it took about 45 minutes to get to us. However, before we could say anything or complain, our server came to our table and told us our food was taking longer than expected and the restaurant planned to comp our meal for the inconvenience. When we got our food (fried chicken sandwich and french toast), it was exceptional. I would eat here every time I visit La Jolla.

Wow! What a find. I had them make me a smoked salmon Benedict. Perfectly executes! Generous potion of smoked salmon and hollandaise was delicious. My husband had the wild mushroom and organic spinach omelette which was also excellent. They don’t have matcha latte on the menu but do make one. Nice surprise although it cane sweetened which I didn’t know. I would highly recommend. Prices are fair and quality is definitely there in the ingredients. Britany was our server and was definitely on top of things. Order was delivered pretty fast.
