Shoreside Bakery is a new, family-owned bakery and coffee place in San Diego. It is simply amazing and a true gem. Everything is baked fresh daily in house from scratch, using quality ingredients. There is a wide selection of indulgent treats, pastries, sandwiches, wraps, cakes, and macarons. The bread is classic and handmade, not industrial. The sourdough is really good, soft yet mildly tangy, and perfectly crusty outside and soft inside. The weekend menu has borscht and Plov. The place looks super clean, with a clean bathroom, and is kids friendly. There is street parking. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and provides good customer service. It is highly recommended.
