Disappointing experience especially for the price. Family of 5- two kids. Checked the website and Facebook before deciding to go here. The website was misleading. Did not realize the AYCE was all or nothing (everyone-including the kids-has to order the AYCE or you can’t get it) and that the crab was an additional cost. The crab was okay. The shrimp and corn were mushy.
Shrimp is good.but when it comes to Mussels, clams, crabs and Crawfish its like its not fresh. The garlic noodles is good. The service is bad they will make you wait outside and its pretty cold. There’s only 1 hostess and he also does taking orders, serving the food and drinks. Plus they will charge you automatically 18% tip. Now tell if you will still try to go here. Lolz!

Food was flavorless, even with the garlic and lemon. Shrimp was not deveined…needed a heavy duty pooper scooper. To say that this meal was deeply disappointing is an understatement. The only highlight was the waiter. He was kind, attentive and sympathetic. I do however regret coming here and wish I had spent my money at another seafood restaurant that is actually worth it.

The good: The house seasoning is very good.
The bad: The place was less than half full and it took 15 minutes for the host to take our drink and food order and then another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The portion size was small for the price. There is a lack of cleanliness.
It was a chance to experience the food and atmosphere but I would not return.

lemon pepper wings were super good , that was it…. horrible service, we waiting for an hour to get our food and anything else we asked for took a long time to get to us. i feel so bad though because they were very nice people but they need to hire more employees or something because I was VERY close to leaving without eating. The sauces for the boil were veryyyyyy oily, we were gagging at the smell of oil.

I was so excited to know this place existed so my husband took me out to cheer me up after a rough few days. We got sat my the server with red hair and she just wasn’t pleasant. She even laughed at me for ordering a 2nd round when she didn’t even give me back the sheet to fill out so I was just adding sausage and she said “haha ok” so damn sarcastically. I was like, huh? My husband was even like damn ok and he’s more patient than I. I don’t like complaining especially at food places to I pick my battles but idk they gave us one bag to share when isn’t it AYCE per person? I was too hungry to think about it but after we were like why did we share a bag when he had different preferences but she insisted that one bag was fine. Then I looked back at my video and saw other tables with a bag per person. We spent the extra $12 for snow crab legs and I was so damn disappointed of the size it was the smallest cluster of legs I’ve ever gotten and yup the meat barely came out. That’s what really did it for m Asking for anything seemed so daunting I stopped asking for anything after the 2nd round, I liked the food but the experience was so meh I just wanted to finished and leave as soon as possible. I’m sad because I want to go back and give it another try but with that service and almost $100 for 2 bags I don’t know how to feel. Is one bag per table normal? It was a random weekday with only 3 other tables I don’t know why she hated being there. The other male servers who came later were more pleasant so that’s was the only redeemable part. But the $12 upgrade was a waste I’m highly disappointed. Will possibly try one more time because I love seafood and there’s not many ayce places like this. Fingers crossed!

We ordered one of the seafood boil combo with Shrimp, clam, and mussel, also some fresh oysters.
Ingredients: mussels are small comparing to others similar places. Oysters are really fresh.
Taste: a bit too salty for me, and I normally eat pretty salty food.
Overall a decent place for seafood boils.

AWFUL! If I could ask for a refund, I would!
The shrimp was mushy, like paste, as I peeled it. I’ve never seen that before. The sauce was watery. Garlic nonexistent. I requested medium it might’ve well been no spice. Which isn’t necessarily bad. The only plus here was that the staff was nice. Otherwise the industry standard pricing is what’s keeping them in business.

Food is A+
The restaurant is clean and well kept .
Service takes time but it’s a small business with big orders if that makes sense.
So take it easy on the servers….. ease your hand and make strong eye contact lol.
The oyster are some of the best in San Diego so fresh!!!!!!

Wifey and I went to Ikea, and after some shopping we were craving some Cajun food. Our go to is usually BC, but my better half found this place and decided to try it out. Once we got there, parking is a B, but after a couple circles, we were able to find parking across the street we came on a Sunday evening and only wait 5 minutes for a table to open up. Staff was on point and super friendly. We started with fried okra (it wasn’t the best I had but it wasn’t the worst), we then ordered 3 lbs shrimp, corn, potato, sausage and rice with the Full House Sauce - Medium. Sauce was awesome!!! If you are used to BC, Shrimp Heads was more lemony which is perfect. Took about 25 minutes for the food to come, and the staff made sure we had our bibs, gloves, salt & pepper, and tons of lemon. This is an amazing alternative to BC and Kickin’ Crab. This also is a mom and pop, so give it a try. My wife and I are really excited we found this place.
