Yes I went on a Thursday at 12am......but the fact I had to pay $20 entry and I was one of like 2-3 people there.......kinda sucks......might return on a weekend day because good music but not really much dance room anyways.....and for that reason alone $20 seemed excessive.

It’s always a great time at Sidebar. The team definitely knows how to make their guest feel welcome. I’ve worked with Andra several times and she always goes the extra mile to make our experience 10x better. Definitely the go to spot if you are celebrating anything in the area.

Huge shoutout to Keagan, our VIP host! He got me on the guest list and provided exceptional service from start to finish. Super kind, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. I've been out a lot, and he's one of those hosts who actually makes the night feel effortless.
From the first message to walking into the club, everything was handled smoothly.
No confusion, no awkward waiting, no feeling like you're just another booking.
He knows the room, knows the crowd, and somehow always puts you exactly where you want to be.
In my opinion he's one of the top VIP hosts because he's professional and genuinely looks out for his guests.
Sidebar is already a great spot, but having Keagan as your host levels the whole experience up. If you want an stress-free night and a table that's actually worth it I think he's your guy.

5 star experience every time I come in whether I’m getting a table or just stopping in for a little bit, thanks to Andra and Keagan! Andra makes it a great and personable experience every time I book a table with her. Last time they brought me out a Sidebar hat and a plate of Sideburgers which was a nice touch. The burgers are amazing too.
Definitely my go to nightclub. You get what you pay for here for sure. Good vibes, good music, and good people working there. They also keep it fun with different events/themes always going on. 10/10

My friends and I went here for New Year's Eve and even though it had rave reviews, we definitely left disappointed. The tickets were overpriced and the dance floor was nonexistent due to the fact that the club decided to add additional tables in the middle of the dance floor. We also had to wait at the door for over half an hour despite pre-purchasing tickets. Nobody was able to dance and it was almost impossible to order a drink. Lastly, the DJ played nothing but bad remixes of good songs.

Side Bar is easily the best spot downtown if you want that Vegas vibe. The energy is insane, and the music is always, always fantastic.

A huge part of what sets this venue apart is the VIP host, Andra. She goes above and beyond, curating a seamless and memorable night. Attentive, charismatic, and genuinely invested in making sure your group is taken care of. I would say that she is the gold standard for hospitality and will always remember taking care of you. The bartenders are fast, talented, and super friendly as well and the rest of the staff matches that energy too, always welcoming and cool to talk to.

Even the security out front is great. They keep things safe, respectful, friendly, and surprisingly accommodating which is rare at a busy club.

If you want the best atmosphere, the best service, and the best time downtown, this is the place. Highly recommend.

Sidebar is my go to place!
I used to live in San Diego but now I live in Texas- but when I am in town, I definitely make a point to stop by!!!!The DJ’s are always playing the best songs and bottle service shows are always the best and love how they keep coming up with new things. Laura Leen is THE BESTTTT server! Always pouring out the shots and knows how to get the party going!!! Beautiful, friendly, kind, funny, and did I say beautiful?’ Not just her outside but her inside too!!! Sidebar just wouldn’t be the same without her there.

Was in San Diego to celebrate my friends 30th birthday! We ended up at sidebar where we got a table and had such a fun time. The music was great and our server Laura was so nice. Loved watching all the bottle service shows they put on that night! Would definitely come back again!!

My friend and I had a great time. Bought a couple cocktails and split the burger which were really good. Lalo was also super sweet , funny and helpful. I would definitely come back.
