The male bouncers are homophobic. They were super nice to the straight guys and girls walking in, but were rude to me because I’m gay. The African American security guard needs to fix his attitude and homophobia.

Was disappointed today!!! I’ve been coming here for more than 10 years my friends always spending good money. Today I wanted to get a drink for my birthday and came across and unpleasant situation in the restroom let the security know did not about it. Unfortunately the situation got out of hand and they kicked us out. Since today I am not with my friends that waste thousands of dollars they kicked me out when I initially asked the security to stop the situation. Is sadly a place where is you have money and paying tables they treat you well. When you don’t they just discard you like nothing after a paid cover and had barley bought drinks. Head security Zander was sad to deal with him today that my friends weren’t with me paying lots of money and did not allow me back in when It wasn’t my problem. On my birthday this is how they treat people who aren’t wasting thousands of Dlls.

Absolutely had an amazing time at Sidebar! Not only is the staff amazing and respectful but the vibes and atmosphere is just perfect! I booked a VIP bottle service table for my birthday and they went above and beyond posting my pics on the screen and even a custom birthday show. I will absolutely be coming back. Would give 10 stars if I could.

STRICT DRESS CODE!!!! Bouncers will let you stand in a 20 minute line while staring at you the whole time just to tell you when you get to the front it’s no hats, no sneakers, no shorts, and no jerseys.

Great music, great vibes, and outstanding hospitality! I love that Sidebar has a true high end atmosphere. The staff are incredibly professional, adding to the overall sophistication and elegance. Special shoutout to Keagan at the door who really stood out as he was respectful while bringing a magnetic, welcoming energy! If you’re in San Diego and looking for an upscale club experience, Sidebar is a must!

Had an amazing night at SideBar Nightclub! From the moment we walked in, the energy was electric and the music kept us dancing non-stop. But what really made the night unforgettable was Karina, our VIP cocktail waitress. She was an absolute star — friendly, quick, and somehow always right there when we needed a new round. Karina made us feel like true VIPs the entire night! Can’t wait to come back and do it all over again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great vibes and top-notch service! 🍾🎉🕺💃

The experience was pleasant. We went to celebrate a double birthday. We were a group of more than 20 people, so they put us in the lounges near the entrance, and thank goodness because the place was packed when we walked to the bathroom at the back. People wouldn't even let you pass, the hallways were blocked, and the air didn't even circulate. Overall, the music was good and the atmosphere was good. The waiters and the doorman were friendly and helped us have an amazing time.

Great club. Music, drinks, girls, everything. Ask for Jordan at the front. He’s the man. Super hospitable and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended this club.
