Great employees

Freshly made (but very expensive) donuts in a cute strip mall in Del Mar. The donuts were delicious and unusual. They had limited selection (maybe 15 types) and limited inventory (but it was 2pm). I got a glazed salted, huckleberry, chocolate pistachio and regular glazed. I spent about $22.

Something is happening with Sidecar donuts; they used to be very good and their staff very friendly; until today. Today the atmosphere in the store was chaotic, there was no inventory and the employees were in a very bad mood, especially one who shouted "close the door" every time someone entered.

I would have liked to say the name of the screaming employee, but no one had his name tag.

They are forgetting that there are other donuts (like those from Pavillions) that are very good and half the price.

The eggs Benedict donut has blown my mind. I’ve always loved the butter and salt donut, but today I tried something new. I hope they never take this off the menu! Highly recommended for savory breakfast lovers.

I've been here several times and every time I wanted to try another item, but I couldn't buy anything other than the choc-a-lot donut, that donut is amazing. I love it.

Love Sidecar! Donuts are delicious. If you’re in the market for something savory get the Egg Benedict donut. It is hands down my favorite.

It's a donut shop that is voluminous but not too heavy, and rather focuses on using organic ingredients. There are also vegan options, so it's a shop where both people who like sweet things and people who like simple, gentle flavors can go shopping. We also have a lineup of gentle flavors, so you can enjoy both hearty and fresh donuts. There is only one store in San Diego, and several in LA. The inside of the store is cute and it's open until night, so it's recommended.

I'm gluten-free, and the gluten free donuts (two flavors every day, one of which is also vegan) are incredible! I hadn't had a fresh donut in years, and it was amazing to be able to have one from Sidecar! They also give you a free donut on your birthday ;) The staff are all very friendly, and it's one of my favorite spots in San Diego!
