Ace, our server, was incredibly friendly and immediately helpful whenever we needed extra bowls or utensils. 5 stars!
Best ramen
Ambiance and service are nice enough, but the food was just okay for us. The edamame with garlic had great flavor.
Tonkotsu broth is thick and rich! Extra side of pork, eggs and broccoli are highly recommended.
Pork belly you will dream about! drool 🤤
This restaurant is pretty good, I recommend it.
Food was great, staff was great as well.
This is my favorite ramen and karage place to go. This particular location. Our server Ace and Jason helped in the clean up. Service was fast and very transparent when what my daughter want was not available. He offers suggestions or other options which turns out to be even better. Thus, the 5 star rating.

YUM!! I truly wasn't expecting the ramen to be THIS GOOD since it was attached to the mall eating area. It's a tiny spot, but service and atmosphere was top notch restaurant quality. I had the Blaze ramen, which I hoped would be spicier (I asked for spiciest but it was probably a 3/7) but the rest of the flavor totally made up good it. The pork was so tender, the broth so creamy and flavorful. My child is basically a ramen connoisseur now, and had the garlic truffle ramen and it was so fabulous. I was allowed to try a little and it blew my mind. Fab. Definitely worth a visit if you're a ramen person and in the area.

This was surprisingly among the best ramen offerings I've had in the San Diego area. In general, people obviously have personal preferences and ramen has several distinct styles (e.g., Hakata, Tokyo, Onomichi). But considering that disclaimer, if you are a ramen enthusiast I would say missing this place would be a notable gap in your résumé.
We each had the combo which allowed us to taste the classic tonkotsu, the spicy version and two apps — we chose the chicken karaage and broccolini. I know you're thinking you know which app is better, but you'd be surprised. Both of us much preferred the broccolini, as it was slightly fried with a delicious crunch. If this was American cuisine they would've definitely messed it up with too much dressing, but true to Japanese standards the amount of sesame dressing was just right. The karaage was not bad at all, but the chicken nor the aïoli was in any way notable or distinct. If you bread and fry something, it's going to be decent.
I added bamboo to my classic ramen (always add bamboo, always add egg ), and it was delicious. The broth was just complex enough for deliverables that were beyond standard. Egg was nicely seasoned and appropriately jammy. I usually get excited when I see I thick braised pork belly rather than a thinly sliced cha shu, but in this case, it was just clunky and threw off the balance of the soup. I can appreciate the value piece of the meat, but from a complexity perspective, it became the pork show instead of a symphony of ramen ingredients. The medium spicy ramen had a delightful kick, and was a different bowl of tonkotsu on its own merit. This was a nice surprise as it wasn't simply the classic with a little chili oil dumped on. In all, the quality for price point is quite high and service was very friendly.
Of the slurpable noodle spots in UTC mall, this is definitely among the top two for soup.
