Finally visited Slurp yesterday all the way from LA and it definitely lived up to the hype…but not for what you might expect. Everyone obviously comes here for the viral Crab Rangoon Burrito, which is understandable. Personally, it was a little bit overwhelming for me. Maybe I would feel differently if o had someone else to share it with, but it was a lot of cream cheese for one sitting and a lot sweeter than I anticipated. The real star of the show is their Spicy Basil Steak Burrito. I can’t even find the words to describe how good it was. All I know is that I was surprised that it wasn’t the menu item that everyone was going crazy over. 12 out of 10, unlike anything I’ve ever eaten before in the form of a burrito. DO NOT LEAVE HERE WITHOUT GETTING THIS. Trust me 🏆

I saw the Crab Ragoon rolls on social media and I was so excited to try it! The stand is really cute and there wasn't much of a line when I walked up. The woman was so sweet who took my order and rang me up pretty quickly.
I ordered the Crab Ragoon Roll which looked so good. The first bite was good, the flavor of the filling was okay but maybe little on the sweeter side and not a lot of crab.. I also expected it to be a bit more crunchy but it was more soft that anything which was odd since the ends were friend to a crisp and practically burnt, not in a bad way but in a crab ragoon way of that makes sense.
The menu had so much to offer so I decided to go back later to try one of their drinks. I thought the Thai pink milk sounded pretty good like a strawberry take on Thai tea so I decided to order it. The first sip was loaded with strawberry flavor but I'll be honest I though it was more strawberry than Thai tea. And honestly it wasn't that fresh.. I'm glad I got to try it though.
Overall, I am happy I finally made my way to this place but it's not something I would crave or want to come back for..

With many food options at Liberty Station, Slurp is definitely one of the better ones and I keep coming back! Their portion sizes are huge for the price, you can share and still have leftovers. Their fried rice is some of the best fried rice I’ve had in my life. Today I decided to try out the viral crab rangoon roll and WOW, you get SO much food for just $10! Flavor was great, definitely a unique twist on regular crab rangoons. Love this place!

one of those places we keep coming back to—and for good reason. The crab rangoon roll alone is worth the visit. One order is huge and easily shareable between two or more people. We’ve never once finished a full order in one sitting because it’s that generous and filling.
This time we also tried the takoyaki balls, and wow—so good. Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and once again, the portion size is perfect for sharing.
Great food, great portions, and consistently delicious. If you’re at Liberty Station and craving sushi or Japanese bites, Slurp is a must. 🍣✨

My husband broke his fast yesterday at this restaurant and it was literally the only thing he had for the rest of the day. He got food poisoning from this spot. They did provide a lot of food, but something in it tore his stomach up and had him feeling bad a few hours after eating it until the afternoon the next day! He ordered a spicey fried rice with lots of pork in it. He's a spice king, so that wasn't the issue. Almost asked him for a bite. Glad I didn't. Be cautious here (Liberty Station).
I’m only reviewing Slurp based on the crab rangoon roll so take it as you will. I’m not sure why this thing is viral unless I just got a dude, but it just tasted like imitation crab in Mayo in some bland fried wrap. Maybe they ran out of cream cheese and didn’t think anyone would notice? My fiancé and I both agreed this didn’t taste anything like an actual crab rangoon and we’re both extremely disappointed.

I was surprised to find a good tasting Ramen from this small (looks like mom & pop) eatery at the Liberty Public Market at the historic Decatur place in San Diego. I ordered the Ramen with a little bit of hesitation because of the setup of this little eating place but oh boy - I did like my Ramen.
