The atmosphere was chic and quant. We arrived right before 8am on a Saturday morning and was seated right away. By the time we left, there was a line out the door. The server was nice. He could have given our table a little more attention. We didn’t get any water brought to our table. Which was odd. The food overall was satisfying. It was nice to have the half order option.
Ordered: Bloody Mary (bangkok), ancient grain Benny, makin’ it grain bowl, chili verde Benedict with a side of bacon, and omg! French toast.

Really great food, service and experience overall. It was so great not to have to break the tie between the specialty pancakes and omg fresh toast by doing them all on a flight. The grits were the best ive had in a long time, no additional seasoning needed (savory). My Mr loved the gluten free pancakes and was glad he could get a pancake flight too. Sometimes, the gluten free menu is limited and he doesn't get many options, at Snooze, he had the same experience he'd have if not for the food allegey. All was very good! Everyone left full and happy.

This was one of the most memorable breakfasts I’ve had in my entire life. I just wish this was closer to home for us! The French toast flight was like nothing I’ve ever had before. Overall, this is a great spot for breakfast. Go read the first picture and you’ll see all my gripes. I gripe allot.
I’m deeply disappointed with the experience my wife had at Snooze. She was working as a delivery driver when a short, heavy-set employee told her she couldn’t wait for the order inside and had to stand outside. This was incredibly upsetting, especially considering that I, and many other delivery drivers, have waited inside without any issues.
It’s hard not to see this as a clear act of racism and xenophobia… my wife is Latina, and she was the only one treated this way. We expect better from a business that operates in such a diverse community. Discrimination has no place in any establishment.

Snooze Café quickly became one of our favorite stops during our San Diego trip. The food was fantastic, the service was warm and attentive, and the lively atmosphere gave the place a great vibe. It was definitely busy, but the energy added to the experience rather than taking away from it.
We enjoyed it so much that we ended up coming back a second time during our vacation—something we rarely do. The combination of great food and even better service made it an easy choice. Highly recommend!
