The food was just okay and service was terrible. Got the vibe this is a major tourist trap. Would not go back and do not recommend.

This was the best dinner I had while in San Diego. The atmosphere was A+, and the service was somehow even better than that. I started off with a sweet and refreshing Red Sangria, and then had the Calamari for an appetizer which was perfectly fried and quite substantial in portion size. My main dish was the Linguine Allo Scoglio with red sauce, and it was among the best pasta dishes I have ever had. It was extremely flavorful with very fresh seafood with the pasta cooked to al dente perfection topped off with parmesan cheese. Highly, highly recommend!

I recently visited Sogno Di Vino. The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. However, the service was quite disappointing. Our waiter seemed irritated and impatient throughout the meal, which made us feel uncomfortable. The person who brought our food and water was also rude and visibly annoyed. It’s a shame because the food deserves high praise, but the overall experience was brought down by the poor service.

We had an early dinner in Little Italy before flying out of San Diego Airport two weeks ago. We had originally planned to dine at another highly rated restaurant but decided to take a chance on this one because a great outdoor table was available. We were very glad we did. The service was friendly and efficient — our entrees arrived about 15 minutes after we ordered. Both pasta dishes — the seafood linguini in white wine sauce and the squid ink pasta with seafood — were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The prices were also very reasonable. We truly enjoyed this meal before our long flight.

Great Italian food, fun street views. Service was a little slow, had to ask for refills on beverages. But overall a great place to eat Italian food

The food was amazing! Great service as well. I live in Riverside county and would definitely make the drive to come eat here again.

Can’t speak to the food, but the service at the bar was enough to make us rethink sticking around for it. Sat down and watched three staff members behind a very small bar do everything but acknowledge us for a solid five minutes. Just as we were about to bail, someone finally wandered over — so we decided to just grab a quick drink.
Ordered a beer, which was poured and put down (out of reach of me) without even asking what my fiancée wanted.
Had to wave someone down (again) just to get her a drink, which was about another 5 minutes…..and closing out somehow became a 10-minute expedition.
Maybe the food’s good? But the service made it clear it wasn’t worth finding out.

Great place for lunch. We loved the pasta and the calamari is the best entrée. The wines from the house are also really good. The only not that good thing is the wind outside, although you can always choose a table inside.

This cute little Italian spot in Little Italy was just what we needed to satisfy our ravioli cravings. We hadn’t tried this restaurant before, so we decided to give it a shot. Marcelo was our waiter, and he was fantastic—very friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of.
My fiancé ordered the cheese and spinach ravioli, and I had the ravioli di zucca (butternut squash in sage butter). Both dishes were good, though not the best ravioli we’ve ever had. The interior of the restaurant is super charming, designed to replicate an Italian grotto, which added to the experience. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area!

We wait 1 hour to get our food and the waiter get our order wrong. When we ask whether there is any compensation for the long wait, the waiter just said everyone wait this long. Not recommended at all!!!! Don’t come. The food is OK. Worst experience ever.
