The curry wasn't good. Disappointed. Sad.

I came here on a off chance because the wait down the road was ridiculous. It was so good I'm back the next night to try something different.

Food was meh. Maybe it was the time of the day we went (3pm on a Sunday). One of dishes was extremely sweet (even by american standards).
The chicken in the green curry looked and tasted stale. Papaya salad was very sweet too.
Will go again to try other food at other times but my first experience was not good.

Excellent Place in SD downtown.
Loved the options. The noodle soup was really tasty and flavorful, had ordered one of their specials. We had ordered crispy tofu for appetizers too.

Soi 30th is serving up big flavors! Their Minced Chicken Holy Basil is absolutely delicious and the dish is elevated even more with a kick of spice. Highly recommend for authentic Thai food in San Diego!

Yum! Stopped here for lunch on a Friday around 1:00pm and it was pretty empty with only a couple other people inside. I recommended finding street parking in the nearby neighborhoods rather than using the pay-to-park lots. Saves a couple bucks and is only a couple blocks walk. Ordered the Pad See Ew with pork belly and really enjoyed it. Was it the best Pad See Ew I’ve ever had? No, but it was very good. Our waitress offered “mild, medium, or hot” spice level and I ordered medium. It was quite spicy but not too much. If you just want a tiny kick, I’d go with mild. The portion was large and I took my leftovers home which were great reheated too. There was plenty of seating in the restaurant but it was a little muggy and humid inside, even with the fans on. Our waitress was very kind and we enjoyed our time at Soi 30th!

Loved the recommendations from our server last night. The Pla Fish platter and the curry soup 🍜 was so delicious. 🤤 The only thing is the space is tight outside. I know my next door neighbors could hear our whole conversation. Other than that it was wonderful. Will be coming back definitely !!

Visited San Diego for a few days and was recommended this restaurant for some good Thai. And boy was it fantastic. The chicken curry puffs were amazing (GET THESE), as was their Khao Soi and Red Curry dishes, ridiculously tasty and creamy. Also got a Thai tea for good measure which was also delicious. Plus the server/hosts were super friendly. Nothing but good things to say about here, you should definitely visit.
