Such a great experience here, server was very kind and welcoming to our first visit. Food was delicious! Beautiful views if you sit outside. Plus they have treats to end your meal on a sweet note!

Cute restaurant in little Italy. Outdoor seating, friendly staff weekly specials. Fare is of-course Italian! Pizza pasta plus all other Italian dishes. Small but good beer selection. Pizza we had was good, although I would rank it pretty average. Pasta carbonara was awesome and highlight of my meal here. Complementary bread with marinara sauce was terrible. Not very tasty bread, and marinara sauce that came straight from the can..

This restaurant was very good. I might even say that it was squitissimi, which means "very exquisite" in Italian. We got a good Caesar salad, and a pizza with anchovies. We did not like how fishy the pizza was, so our VERY generous waiter brought us a squitissimi and delicious margarita pizza that warmed us from the inside out! Very good service and good food. Would recommend!

The Service was really bad. No one took care of us, the men who cleaned the table never said a word. We asked for a Coke refill three times. The food was okay but the Margharita had way too much pepper on it.

We were assigned a table very quickly as well as the drinks. After bringing the food, no one else came up to us, we were looking for a waiter to order more things and no one helped us. We decided to leave and to be able to leave it was chaos since they took our bill twice and no one came to collect. We had to go to the bar to pay where it took them 10 minutes to serve us just to be able to pay. Unfortunately it has very poor organization and zero attention to diners. The place was not full and did not deserve such terrible attention.

My wife and I stayed near Little Italy and decided to stop at Solunto Restaurant and Bakery. It looked busy and we liked the vibe. We ordered the Carbonara and Quatro Stagoni pizza.Food came out and we saw a little charring on the pizza, no big deal still looked pretty good. After a few bites we noticed it tasted more like ash than pizza. Looked at the bottom and found out it was mostly burnt. It was basically unedible. The carbonara was pretty good though. The waitress came out to check on us, I let her know the pizza was mostly burnt and we couldn't finish it. She apologized and told us that they use a wood fire oven. I've had many wood fire pizzas before and this was by far the most burnt. We decided to end the meal and skip dessert.

Dined in outdoor. Took 10+ mins before someone got our order. Ordered brewed coffee, it was cold. The fork was dirty. The server was rude.

No need to be convinced by the gentleman sitting out front sipping his wine, pretending he’s a customer, and coaxing people in??. This place is great. Great food, great atmosphere, and reasonably priced. Happy Hour specials are exceptional!! Great place.

The best Italian food I've ever had for a while! The lobster ravioli is super good!!

One of the best Italian restaurants in San Diego! They served bread with marinara sauce in the beginning and then we got to order our food. I got the Rigatoni e Pollo and it was delicious! The sauce had the perfect amount of creaminess to it and it paired really well with the vegetables and pasta. It didn't feel dry at all. There weren't too many vegetables which is how I like my pasta. Sometimes Italian restaurants have smaller portion sizes for their pasta but this restaurant had the perfect portion sizes! Would definitely come back here again and maybe try the Lobster Ravioli! :)

This is a great Italian restaurant with some of the best bread I've had in SoCal! Food is fresh and delicious. If I lived in San Diego, I'd go here often!

We love this place, we ate there twice this week! The street was busy this weekend with St. Patrick's Day and we were greeted by a local enjoying a glass of wine and telling us that this is his favorite Italian restaurant so we decided to try it.It was a great choice, the staff does a great job. They deliver fresh bread while you are waiting for your meal.We tried one of their salads and a margarita pizza. The salad was delicious and more than enough for two to share. Loaded with olives and pepperocinis it was great. The pizza came out piping hot, the crust was delicious and the sauce was superb. The team really works very hard to make your visit very enjoyable.Stop by, say hi to the "unofficial host" at the door and enjoy your meal.

Went to Solunto for lunch during the week and it was very yummy. We started with a margherita pizza which was delish and then I ordered the fettuccine gamberi without mushrooms. I preferred the pizza over the pasta. I loved the outdoor seating and think it's perfect for spring and summer.
