Been eating here almost once a week for 10+years, after the reopen from the gas station remodel it has gone down hill big time, last week got a breakfast torta with such a ridiculously hard stale torta there is no way they didnt know it was bad before serving, but it was Togo so they probably figured screw me I dont have time to come back with it to complain. And today got a carnitas taco Nd for almost $7 the portion size is absurdly small, it's the portion of a street taco taco Tuesday deal at any other place but in a normal sized taco tortilla. Will not be spending anymore money at this place when there are plenty of other quality taco shops in the area

Sombrero's doesn't disappoint. Classic San Diego Mexican. They have good specials and a somewhat healthier choice options.

The food is good if you manage to get your order correct Came here about 4-5 times they got my order correct 2 out of those times ! and it’s quite frustrating when you clearly tell them what you want but they order something else for you ? this was for 15$-25$ orders they also are not vegetarian even though they say they are so Be Aware !

Yikes! Would never come here again. Carne asada fries were so wack. Barely any cheese and the meat was flavorless and tough!

Plenty of parking at k mesa we got a ticket though turning left on the double yellow though out front it’s a no no Moto cop hides over there. TC

Vegetarian options: Wheat tortillas for burritos is way better if you get bloated feeling like Woodsie

Stopped in for a veggie burrito after going to REI. The service was warm and welcoming. The burrito was amazing and the hot sauces were on point. I will go out of my way to visit this location now.

The customer service was great, kind and friendly. My food was delicious and that’s saying something cause I’m very picky with what I eat. The atmosphere was clean. I really enjoyed my experience at Sombreros 😊
