Food is always good, and they have a pretty good happy our selection of drinks and munchies. Service is hit or miss, you come one is awesome, super attentive waitstaff, you came back the next day and you almost have to beg for attention and they never return to check on you.

Been coming here for over a decade. Usually I get fish tacos or fried oyster tacos on corn tortillas. The calamari strips are always on point and are a great appetizer along with a cold beer. Kids get birria tacos & sliders. They enjoy the fish tacos as well. Birria nachos are also great. Great atmosphere, a fresh breeze is always blowing if you're seated on the 2nd floor inside or out, having a view of the waves, surfers, or just people watching always makes for an interesting meal. They have a few big TVs upstairs where they have games or UFC fights showing. Service can be hit or miss. I think 3 of 5 times they're on point, but sometimes you can't get a server to come over. Ive had to walk to the bar for drinks, napkins, or utensils. Sometimes its cause its busy and sometimes its cause they dont have many people working. It's typically not enough to ruin your experience because the food and atmosphere make up for it. I've been here with big groups from work or just the family, they accommodate both very easily. Parking is probably the most difficult part. Its always packed whether its tourist or locals so you may have to drive around a bit.

Ordered the bacon avocado burger. The burger was on point, however the fries were barely a 2 out of 5. I would be embarrassed to put the fries next to the amazing burger. Please look up the state of Idaho and buy some potatoes from there. The frozen ones that you are using is an embarrassment to your restaurant.

Food was super good but I came on the taco special day (Thursday) with a friend, asked for the 3 fish tacos, and was brought some different more expensive tacos! The waitress just assumed even though we there on taco day that we wanted not the special? Super strange and I guess I’ll have to be more specific next time. I would advise clarifying with your customers though!! All said and done the tacos were very good just paid over $20 for lunch instead of 6 and some change :(

I love taco Tuesdays. The freshly grilled Swordfish was wonderful. We arrived too late for the Yellow Tail. So many great choices. The margarita special was ho hum, but you cannot beat the view.

We came to Ocean Beach in Oct. 2020 and ate here. We enjoyed it so much that when we came back this month (Oct. 2025), we ate there again, several times.

I loved everything about this place. The guacamole and Mahi Mahi tacos were stellar. The view of the ocean was wonderful. The person pinching a loaf in the parking lot between me and the ocean was a little off putting. Overall, I feel like I got the full San Diego experience
