Their fries are absolutely delicious. Super cute and creative beach-cajun spot. Love it!

I had such high hopes, but alas, disappointed. They used chicken thighs as opposed to breasts, and the chicken was extremely tough and fatty, as if it hadn't been properly trimmed. Maybe we'll try again when we're back in San Diego, but this time was a fail.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they're doing, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Absolutely the best meal we had in a while . Highly recommend!

We loved the food both for dinner and for breakfast. I loved the country fried chicken salad and the next morning the acia smoothie! We had a big order and they worked with us. It's a great new place right near the San Diego south mission beach.

I've had this place 3 times now. I keep trying it again because of the convenient location for me and hoping that it'll get a little better, but still not the case. Staff is nice, and they mean well. The burger buns are always pretty soggy making it difficult to pick up the burger. My mom and boyfriend both got crispy chicken sandwiches. You don't usually see people complaining for having too much food...however, the piece of chicken they use for this "sandwich" is the size of a small rotisserie chicken. You can't even pick it up or bite into it as a sandwich that it's supposed to be. We had to leave and take it home to cut up ourselves. Even then, the bottom buns were so soggy, they were inedible. The one good thing we did have was the fries! This place is very quaint and cute but after reading similar reviews, it doesn't seem they care to change the things that would benefit their business and customer satisfaction. Isn't worth the $$.

As a Proud Texan..... I tip my hat at ya'll. This is top notch brisket and the wife went on and on about how good Her chicken and the salad was. Just when we thought California didn't have any good food- along came this place thank the good Lord!

Tip my hat at yall. Brisket was top notch and so was the crispy tenders. Were Texans so that says somethin' if we like your BBQ. Great food, on the beach but not in a crowded part and nice people. Exactly what our sunburned butts needed.

From the outside this place is not impressive. From the inside, it’s also not impressive. However, the high quality of flavors in the food and salad dressings are comparable to many high end restaurants. This is a great little hole in the wall restaurant and I had to fight off the many flies while we sat outside. But for some reason I could deal with it because the food was so good. I ordered the crispy chicken salad, the pulled pork bbq sandwich and my friend got the Nashville chicken with tater tots and biscuit. The biscuit was so good I ordered 4 togo for $2 each. Wow, I just love the food. It’s not a place to take a date but a great place to meet with friends after a surf session or workout.I would go back to try the açaí bowls and smoothies on a hot day.

Cute little place for breakfast…We were going to eat at the outside patio but parking was nonexistent so I went in and ordered and my co-partner circled the block numerous times no luck on parking…ended up taking it with us to eat.

Menu on the huge screen did not match the items available or prices when ordering. Food was fine, but nothing amazing. I was disappointed in my $9 smoothie, but my daughter liked it so it wasn't a complete waste. I would not chose to eat here again, but the rest of our group was generally okay with it.

We went to SCK because of the awesome menu, but the kiosk you order through did not match the posted menu at all. The woman at the counter just directed us back to the kiosk when it wasn't clear. The food we ended up with was not what we went there to order, but the food was tasty and pleased the whole family (not an easy task). And, no ice for the water.

Good food. Took awhile to get served but worth the wait. Outside seating was very comfortable. They were busy but still cordial.

Order on a tablet and wait. Some things were missing to order on the tablet, so had to be updated when we asked. Cooler with canned sodas and drinks. Water was supposed to be available from a jar with little styrofoam cups. The jar was empty. Saw pictures of good looking salad. Reality was way different with a little salad for $14. Keto taco was terrific, but just can't carry the place all by itself. Food overall tasted good and earned the 3rd star. Place needed some serious housekeeping attention. Tables weren't wiped down and place was just rough. Flies were all over because they likely lived their feast. Would have been decent takeout but for the prices there are far better choices.

This is an unpretentious restaurant with a unique low profile patio and amazing food that is packed with southern comfort flavor. Definitely recommend for friends after a surf session or workout. Would not recommend for date night due to limitations in ambiance. Street Parking is quite limited, I recommend parking in the lot and walking a few blocks.

The brisket melts in your mouth...unbelievably good. Nice crispy Cajun salted fries. Now you'll wait awhile for your food so make sure you allow time. But I gotta tell you it's worth the wait. Delicious
