SO GOOD the best meal i’ve had in awhile, i got the pineapple curry and thai iced tea, and it was a huge serving for cheap, so 2 meals for so cheap!

Absolutely delicious! We had the spring rolls, yellow curry & pad see ew, everything was great. We chose level 6 of 10 for spice and it was perfect, spicy but still so flavorful. Will definitely be back 🙌

The lunch specials here are awesome (available until 3pm) - great combo plates with won tons, spring rolls, salad, rice and cup of soup - and don't forget to get some Thai iced tea! (Dinner service is a la carte). I love the Panang Curry with Roast Duck, as shown in my photo. Traditional lunch hour is quite busy and a short wait for a table should be expected. Later in the afternoon (e.g. 2:30) is very tranquil. I can personally attest that Spices has been providing fantastic food and excellent service for decades. A reliable go-to for the best Thai food in San Diego (if you ask me).

Was craving for Thai food after visit to La Jolla and we were happy to run into Spices Thai Kitchen. We enjoyed the food and Thai iced tea!

Yum. I loved the SPICES FRIED RICE with BBQ PORK. It was so fresh, full of flavor and really satisfying. The Thai Fried Rice is more plain, if you are looking for that. This has a garlic sauce, lots of fresh basil and chunks of fresh veggies like onions and red peppers. I got a Level 4 Spice, and it was just flavorful but not too spicy. I am still thinking about it hours later, and planning my next order. I haven't been to eat at the restaurant yet, but they did a great job with takeout. And I see a lot of delicious looking things on the menu. I am gonna be busy.

Marvelous. Consistent. Delicious food, wonderful service. Try the mango and sticky rice when it is in season. The Thai iced tea or coffee is a must.

Ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was completely overcooked, the chicken was overcooked and gross, and the noodles were so sticky and overcooked they wouldn’t even pull apart. Almost like it was from last night. Gross. Even the lime was brown

Was on lunch looking for a place to sit down and relax and was recommended this place. Was in Thailand a couple years ago and was craving some
Thai food. Service from the jump was great and staff was very friendly! The lunch special is a must if you come in between the hours they serve it. Food was very tasty and Thai coffee was also very good. Atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and love how it looked inside. Will definitely be back in again for the lunch special.
